  I had a wonderful visit and enjoyed my stay at Canal House, Unit 2007. The location is one of the biggest highlights — perfectly situated on the Ala Wai Canal, just a short walk to Waikiki Beach, the Honolulu Zoo, Kapiolani Park, and plenty of restaurants and shops. It’s close to everything, yet far enough from the busiest hotel areas to feel quieter and more residential.
  
  The unit itself was comfortable and functional, with a lanai overlooking the canal and golf course. Watching the morning canoe practices and golfers was a nice way to start the day, and the mountain views in the distance added to the experience.
  
  The building amenities were convenient, including secure entry, parking, a pool, and in condo laundry facilities — all very helpful for a longer stay. The neighborhood felt safe and walkable, and the Ala Wai promenade nearby is great for morning or evening walks.
  
  Overall, this unit offers a solid Waikiki stay with an excellent location and classic island views.

  I’ve been staying at this unit for the past 10 years and absolutely love it. The location is ideal—convenient to shopping, bus lines, and of course, the stunning Waikiki Beach. The property management team is responsive and available if needed, though rarely necessary. If you’re looking for a vacation rental that meets the needs of most travelers, this is the place. Highly recommended.

  I stayed here for a month while in Honolulu for work. The property is as advertised. It is very clean and well-maintained. There are utensils for basic cooking, but not for anything too involved. There are lots of dining options nearby, though. Having the washer/dryer in the unit was VERY convenient. I had no issues with the WiFi, but there isn't any cable TV or local channels that I could find. For those who are sensitive, the bedroom was very bright when the sun came up (no blackout curtains). I was very happy with my stay and would definitely recommend it. The included parking spot is a must, since there is rarely any parking available on nearby streets. I would definitely stay here again. In fact, I tried to book it for my next trip but unfortunately it wasn't available.

  Lovely apartment, very well equipped, overlooking the city and the beautiful mountains. Easy access to Waikiki beach and restaurants and shops. Large bedroom wit a comfortable queen size bed.Full kitchen stocked with pots and pans and all kind of appliances. The washer and dryer was a plus with detergent included. We had plenty of towels, beach towels and also 2 beach chairs. The apartment had 2 tv's wit very good cable as well as WiFi. The property manager Vincent was great at checking in and always available. This apartment has als a private parking spot and we were very pleased.All in all we had a wonderful experience at the Canal House ah we would like to come back again.We are highly recommending Captain Cook Resorts for managing our stay and providing us with useful information and arrangements prior and during our stay.Great hosts. Thank you very much. I would like to personally thank from the bottom of my heart to the cleaning crew for their prompt action on finding and handling the situation with my tablet left in the rom after we checked out. They promptly caled Vincent the property Manager and he wa king enough to come to the airport and return it in time for our departure to Canada. I am grateful to all of them for their onesty, integrity and professionalism. Mahalo.

  If you are looking for a unit that is close to everything, this is the place. On the 20th floor overlooking the Ala Wai Canal and in the background, the City's Public Golf Course with spectacular views of the mountains. Shopping close by and you are just minutes away from Waikiki Beach. Unit is well maintained.

  The unit is in a quieter part of Waikiki. It's near two bus stops.Safeway and Leonard's bakery are a short drive or bus ride away. The pool is clean but not heated.

  # 2007 needs some TLC. This condo needs a coat of paint to cover scuff marks, remove the stained carpet and replace with new flooring and some good thorough cleaning from top to bottom! More attention to detail and a little more elbow grease would remove a lot of rust and dust from this unit. The location is a bonus. Never a dull moment from our lanai, local outrigger canoe club and golf course provide hours of entertainment for your viewing pleasure! People that we met in the elevator each day were friendly and helpful. Whether they were maintenance, locals or tourists, all had a smile and a hello to share with us. We enjoyed exploring Montserrat ave. located past the zoo area. Great food can be found there and at reasonable cost too. All in all, a pleasurable and fun stay.

  Relaxing and enjoyed the weather and activities of the island. Paul Tucker, the Property Manager during my stay was expeditious to resolve any issues that arose in the unit. He was extremely resourceful on the night of 2/16, when the circuit breaker did not function for the living room area. He came to the unit at 9:30pm Sunday night and did a temporary fix. and replaced two nor working circuit breakers the next day. Very good service too say the least!.

  We stayed here at this condo for a month and a half. With the very quiet environment, the view from lanai was just great! The bus stop is nearby so very convenient to go to anywhere we wanted to go. The room was pretty clean with all the necessities we would need during our stay. We loved the clean, freshly-washed towels and the tidy kitchen.

  When we arrived the condo was very hot. The a/c was turned off and Paul, who met us, turned it on but the fan wouldn't start. He called the repairman and it was fixed a few days later. The carpet was dirty and stained from last year. The drip pans on the stove were dirty and needs to be replaced. Everything else was clean and very well stocked. We like the location and the convenience to the bus stops.

  Excellent location. Only blocks away from the crowed hustle n bustle of Waikiki, located opposite the Ala Wai Canal, walking distant to Kapiolani Park, Honolulu Zoo, Waikiki Aquarium,Diamond Head, beaches, a plethora of eating establishments, etc. Major bus routes just a block away when wanting to explore other areas of Oahu. Plus all the amenities of home equals a most enjoyable, interesting visit.

  This is our 2nd stay at this condo and really feel like we are at home. Very well stocked and exceptionally clean. The only problem was the air conditioner leaking in the unit but it was not a problem. Wonderful stay!!!

  Wonderful view over Ala Wai Canal, golf course, Saint Louis Heights, Manoa
  UH area with Koolau mountain range with lots of green scenery.
  If the corridor of 20th floor room to the elevator hall be well covered so as the sight of the ground jumping into your eyes, it will have been more comfort to the person like me who is a bit of acrophobia. The five questions put here under to request evaluation of 1 to 5 cannot be input because of some trouble of my iPad.
  All my evaluations are 4 to 5(very satisfied).
  Surely the property is recommendable to any person who has no acrophobia.

  I have stayed at this property several times and as always, it has always been well maintained. Close to everything...just a short walk to the beach and "Waikiki attractions"

  I have been vacationing in Hawaii on a monthly basis for a number of years now. I have used the services of Captain Cook on a number of occasions and have always found them professional in their manner. Cooking is a passion of mine and to cook well you need good cookware. Captain Cook on behalf of the owner of the property replaced the existing cookware with good quality cookware. Minor problems that occurred were handled expeditiously and satisfactorily. I have for the first time rebooked the same Condo. Its location satisfied my requirements and I know that there is an attitude that if items need replacing they will be replaced. I thank the owner and Captain Cook. Mahalo

  wir waren für einen Monat mit unseren 2 Kindern und unserem Baby in dieser Wohnung. Diese ist ruhig, ****, bequem und mit einer grossen Küche ausgestattet. Zum Essen ist es für 4 Personen jedoch eher eng. Die Distanz zur Beach zu Fuss dauert knapp 20 Minuten.

  From the minute I arrived, everything was perfect. Well stocked with supplies. Everything you would want for a 1 month (or more) stay. Unit was to my surprise, very quiet considering it was Waikiki. Loved the view with the street lights at night looking towards the mountains. Nice view of the Ala Wai with the nightly canoe rides. No need for air conditioning - nice cross breeze in unit. Would definitely stay there again.

  I have been visiting the islands since the mid '80s; been to all the islands, Oahu is my favorite. Since retirement, I have been staying for periods of 4 to +8 weeks. If affordable, I would live somewhere in Hawaii. Rental is much, much better than staying

  We enjoy this apartment and location. When the bedroom dresser was less than desired we had a very nice new dresser within days. The washer and dryer in the unit is really great. The kitchen is well stocked and I will certainly stay here again.

  My family stayed at Canal house in Honolulu for 4 months as part of a work assignment. We could not have been happier with the property. Even a family can be comfortable in a one bedroom apartment, especially when everything is right outside the front door. From world famous Waikiki beach to the local library, countless restaurants and local hangouts, a park, the zoo. and even if you want to explore Oahu by car, you have a great parking spot in the garage, since street parking is hard to come by.
  The apartment was fully stocked with cookware, appliances, nice TVs and even beach toys.
  We had a wonderful time and miss the wonderful view of the mountains from the lanai with its daily rainbows.
