  The unit was great. I would recommend a good deep cleaning - under stove and fridge. The people I dealt with with very helpful.

  This space was very close to all the action. Walked to the beach in 5 minutes. Shopping, Restaurants, abound. All the tours picked up right in the area. Uber at front door. Car rentals close by. Everything on the Island is within 1 hour, just don't go at rush hour. Its a big city on a beautiful old island. Cant wait to go again. would definitely stay here again.

  The rental process was very straightforward and the person who met us at the property for check-in was very helpful. The property was 2 blocks from Kalākaua Avenue so it was quiet enough yet close to the “action”. The bed was king-sized, the well equipped kitchen was very handy as well as the laundry in suite.

  キャプテンクックリピーターです。いつも日本語堪能で、フレンドリーな担当者が迎えてくれます。ジェームスさんは、とても親切でした。お部屋は、2人で使用するには十分な広さ、トイレットペーパーやシャンプーなどの消耗品もあり助かりました。室内洗濯機置、無料パーキングもグッド!滞在中、キャプテンクックから困った事はないか?と連絡もあり、安心してハワイ滞在が出来ました。

  Lived like a local for a week. Much more efficient and economical than any hotel. I found out later that I could have saved fees by contacting Captain Cook directly.

  This is the first time we booked with Captain Cook. I have tried other rental companies and they were just OK. Captain Cook is a very professional agency, they are always there when you call, the staff if very polite and informative. When we got to the condo complex their manager was there to greet us on time, and took the time to show us the unit and all the amenities. The condo was exactly as described, and very clean. The staff at Captain Cook makes you feel they are there to assist you, but as they say they want you to have a 5 star experience, and that's exactly what we got. I definitely would recommend them, and they are our go to company for renting a condo in Honolulu.

  Studio apartment was spacious, with laundry & kitchen facilites, well equipped, & it was certainly easy to make this our home away from home for our 12 nights. The property is well located, so central & easy walking distance to beach, restaurants & bars, & shopping (including supplies & groceries). Overlooking the canal & golf course, it was private & quiet, & the roof-top pool & sun loungers wonderful for relaxing. Perfect for our stay, good value & would thoroughly recommend to others. We will be back!

  My husband and I had a great time in Waikiki and the condo we stayed in had a lot to do with it. The condo was clean, had all the amenities we needed, such as FREE parking, AC, and Wi-Fi. We also appreciated the 24 hour security. We would stay at this condo again and would recommend it to others.

  My experience at Fairway Villa was excellent! I visit Hawaii multiple times a year on business and generally stay up to 2 weeks. It was great to have the kitchen and washer/dryer in the room. The staff with Captain Cook was extremely helpful both in booking and arrival/departure. They reached out to make sure everything was great. The location is perfect too! I highly recommend.

  The location of the building is excellent, short walk from Waikiki beach and a convenient supermarket on the corner 1 mite walking away. The unit itself is very nice, with washer/dryer, comfortable bed, in a quiet building with good security. The property agent, Jessica, is excellent and responds timely to questions and requests. I can definitely recommend this unit.
  A major improvement could be made by replacing the shutter type blinds with real curtains that block the light and vastly improve the room ambiance.

  Fantastic place. Made me feel like I was coming home to stay. Had everything I needed- parking, washer/dryer in unit. Easy location to get everywhere. CC staff - Jessica was AWESOME - I had travel issues and she was so accommodating. The unit itself was really comfortable and clean and wonderful. The bldg is REALLY REALLY clean and run well. And safe. I will stay here all the time now if available when in Honolulu. I come several times a year. Love this place.

  The administration of this vacation rental was excellent, from first contact to final check out. First rate. The photo of the room is accurate. There is a nice little balcony. Outside the bathroom there is a washer and dryer. This rental includes a parking space. The rental is a quick block away from a grocery store, which is very convenient, and within walking distance to the main attractions of Waikiki Beach. It was a perfect location from which to launch a weeklong exploration of Oahu.

  We had a great vacation.
  It was clean and comfortable room.
  James Wickard, who guided me the room were very friendly, we have explained to me everything.
  Tableware and cooking equipment were all gathered.
  Supplies during the vacation , it was all be covered.

  Last minute reservation & was so happy that Fairview Villa was available for our dates. 1) Jessica K. met us w/much aloha. Explained everything. Did not receive that service from other VRBO rentals. 2) rental fee included parking. 3) Washer & dryer in room. What a great convenience. Waikiki Sunset and Waikiki Banyan have washer & dryer on each floor and you have to pay to use.

  Download the app! It makes staying here even easier! First of all, the property manager Jessica was great! She was so sweet and very understanding after our rental car pick-up took longer than expected. Check-in and check-out were a breeze.
  
  The room was very clean and had everything we needed. 24-hour security guards made us feel very safe, plus you need a key fob to get into the building. I liked the keypad to get into the room as well, one less key to carry around and they change it with every new guest. Great view of the canal from the lanai and the rooftop terrace had 360 views of the city, canal, and beach.
  
  The beach is 2 blocks away, probably took us 5 minutes or less to walk to. There are a bunch of shops, restaurants, and farmers markets as you make your way to the beach. Waikiki is very touristy and there is a lot going on so if you're looking for a quiet place to stay and get away from tourists then this probably isn't the place. We rented a car so that we could get away from the city during the day, but we enjoyed being close to everything at night. There is also construction going on so it wan't so great waking up to that noise but we were usually up early anyway. The construction is only to make improvements, there is actually a lot of construction in the city at this time.
  
  We bought Go Oahu cards and they allowed us to enjoy all of Oahu. We went snorkeling in Hanauma Bay, kayaking on the North Shore, encountered dolphins at Sea Life Park, spent a day on a secret beach and jungle expedition at Kuala Ranch, and much, much more. Highly recommend if it;s your first time and you want to enjoy everything the island has to offer for an affordable price.

  The condo was very nice and walk to Waikiki beach takes you less than 10 minutes. The condo provides you beach umbrella and beach chairs. The only problem was we saw some roaches, but not too many. I believe they would take care of it if we contact, but again, it was just a short stay for vacation, so we did not bother the property management.

  I really enjoyed my stay. The unit was a little smaller than i expected. I didn't spend much time in the unit. It perfect for 1 person. It is in a perfect location. I felt safe staying there. Private parking, 24 hr security. I would stay there again.

  Room 1410 was well furnished and comfortable short stay by myself. the Villa is well secured

  Great views from the Roof-took many photos. New AC unit very quiet. On the 14th of 29 floors. Parking space a big plus. Unit slightly larger than I expected. Chili's and Supermarket on same block. They expect you to leave it as you found it, with the exception of bedding and towels. Everything provided for cleaning up the Unit. You need e-mail access as that is how they communicate wth you. However you can phone them for any issues you might have. Overall extremely satisfied. Great location for Kuhio and Kalakaua Avenues for shopping and restaurants.

  Really enjoyed staying in this unit which surpassed my expectations. The unit was well-stocked with necessities, in excellent condition and very clean. Byron, the representative, was accommodating and helpful. One suggestion: it would have been good to have some instructions about the facilities (i.e. garbage disposal, telephone) in writing, although Byron explained initially and was responsive to requests by telephone.

  This is not a luxury setup but everything works, it's clean, and it was a quiet location. And the cool thing about this studio is that it is one of the only units with a heat pump a/c rather than a window a/c. Parking was included in the price. There was a security man on duty at all times. We enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to someone looking for a small place within 2 blocks of Waikiki beach.

  AC was very loud and even though I'm a deep sleeper I didn't sleep very well initially. It was replaced day 10 of a 14 day stay so it's much better now. Thankful for a responsive management and owner. Bedspread was on the old dusty and faded side. Kitchen I did not use much but was clean. Washer/Dryer was nice to have but the dryer vented to a wet tray which must be half filled with water and thus made the area a bit musty smelling, and washer water temperature settings were off (ie cold cycle setting ended up with warm water.) It may be due to the age of the unit.
  Last, although stated outright with the reservation, I wasn't thrilled with paying a reservation fee and damage waiver in addition to the cleaning charge. If anything just prorate those charges in the daily rate so I don't feel like I'm being nickle and dime'd.

  I was attended a conference at the Hawaii Convention Center and rented this condo, which was cheaper than staying in a local hotel. I was very satisfied with my stay. The condo is well appointed with dishes, cookware, utensils, extra towels, dish soap, paper towels, etc. There was even a beach umbrella and beach chair available. I really liked the shower, very roomy. Wifi and cable were great and easy to use. I found the location extremely convenient and I felt very safe in the building. About 1 mile from convention center; I usually took the #2 bus ($2.50/ride). Super close to shops - including a grocery store right on the block. About 4 blocks from beach, definitely walkable. Paul, the rental agent, was great, very friendly and helpful. Very minor cons: While the condo has been updated, bear in mind that the building (like almost all of Waikiki) is a bit dated - from the 70s. Dust ruffle was dirty. A few single sockets didn't work. And yes, the air conditioning unit is loud. But none of these bothered me and I think the condo is a great space for one person.

  We appreciate your feedback and we are sorry for the inconveniences. All of the sockets do work but a few are on wall switches which need to be in the on possition to get power. The old "loud" window AC has been replaced with a new ultra-quiet ductless split AC.

  We had a great time here, great location for a good price. The only things that i would say were negatives were the air con is VERY noisy and the sound from the streets travels up quite alot (depite being on 14th floor)- But if you are a good sleeper- shouldnt be a problem. The bed was big, and the room had everything we needed.

  My wife and I enjoyed our stay very much. The location was good, a nice walk to the beach, shopping and close to bus stops. The only compaint I would have would be the noise of the traffic. There were a lot of sirens and noisy cars and motorcycles at all hours. But those are the woes of any large city!! We got used to that after a few nights! The pool area was great. We bbq'd a few times during our stay and we used the pool every day. We would recommend this property!

  Stayed at Fairway Villa unit 1410 for 2 weeks and found the place very clean and nice, had all the amenities that we needed and overall the unit was fantastic. Is located a 2 minute walk to Waikiki beach and all the shopping, will definitely stay here again.

  We stayed 6 nights and found the Fairway Villa to be right what we were looking for. Someone met us promptly to check in and show us the room. It was quiet and we had all amenities available. It was nice to be located within walking distance to anywhere including a grocery store across the street. We rented a car and were able to get a parking spot included with our rental so we could go explore. Overall we were very satisfied.

  We had a good time. The unit was nice. The view is of a waterway. The weather was rainy. We were close to shopping, restaurants and a few blocks from the beach. We had a parking spot included. We were able to easily travel to all of the sites we wanted to see.

  It was great for me as a teacher using limited funding. The self-catering option here is good as the supermarket is just down the street. The bus stop is also nearby so this location is really great for people with various purposes visiting Waikiki - mine was business (going to the University of Hawaii) and pleasure. I'll be recommending Captain Cook to the next teacher visiting next year. I just wish I could be sent here again. I may do so in a private capacity anyway!

  The location was fantastic, and it was so easy to get around via the local transport system. Property Manager was very helpful when keys, bags, passports etc were locked in room accidently with only 15 mins till departure time....

  It is exactly what I expected ; ) !
  It's not big,but cozy,clean,and has everything we needed-not to close to next bldg,has a parking,balcony with view,king size bed-which was 2 single bed put together,but worked just fine.Why 4 stars?Well,of course ocean view is better right!But they have a roof top pool and jacuzzi(small though) and you can get a great view from there.
  
  I've been to Hawaii 15+ time in my life and this is my 'must' when I choose a hotel/condo...if not ocean view,get a room by the edge of Waikiki,which is by Fort Derussy park,Ala wai river,or by Kapiolani park.
  
  Why...Waikiki is VERY view means your room is lower part of the bldg,which is busy,except you get a room on these area.
  
  This condo is right next to Ala wai so you can get a nice mountain view!Also Waikiki is small,so it's just a few minutes walk to beach.

• All things were wonderful....Apartment was exactly as pictured in internet photos...location was perfect and space had all cleaning materials and consumables on hand. We would love to return there!

  Nice central "walk to everything in Waikiki" location. With friends around the Island we needed a car and the assigned parking stall was a great amenity.

  This unit is located only one block from bus/trolley stops and two blocks from the Royal Hawaiian shopping area yet on a quiet street across from the golf course. You can drop on the bed, in a barrel chair or on the lanai when you finish your walkabout!
