  Well maintained property in a great location. Available amenities, including onsite laundry and free parking was a plus. Check in experience easy and host was very friendly and helpful. Location is close to shopping and beaches. Would rent again with this host.

  We had a wonderful stay at this Waikiki apartment! The location couldn't be better—just a 5-minute walk to the beach and close to all the main attractions. One of our favorite parts was sitting out on the lanai, enjoying the gorgeous city skyline and watching the Friday night fireworks from the Hilton—such a treat!
  
  The apartment was well-equipped for our family’s needs. Both the main bedroom and living room had AC units, which made a big difference during the hot summer days. One of the bedrooms didn’t have AC, just a fan, but it was still comfortable since the other units kept the apartment cool overall.
  
  Paul, the property manager, was incredibly responsive and accommodating—he kindly arranged for both early check-in and late check-out, which really helped with our travel plans. The kitchen had stainless steel cookware and a dishwasher, making it easy to cook meals at home (especially important for us with dietary restrictions). Just note that there’s no cooking oil or seasonings, so bring your own if you plan to cook.
  
  We also really appreciated the extras—beach chairs, snorkeling gear, and fins were all provided. The elevator is conveniently located right next to the apartment too, which made coming and going a breeze.
  
  The only small downside was the pull-out sofa, which wasn’t the most comfortable—we ended up putting the mattress on the floor. But in the end, all six of us slept cozily and felt right at home.
  
  Overall, for the location, view, and overall convenience, we’d highly recommend this place and would definitely stay again!

  The condo worked out well for all of us and the locations was excellent. My only complaint is that the bathroom flooring was so slick that I slipped on it right after I showered even though I used the shower mat. We covered the floor with towels but just a little water made my toe slip again later that day.

  We enjoyed our stay at this condo. Furnishings were comfortable. The place was clean and well maintained. And the location was very good. Lastly the location manager, Paul, was very responsive and helpful.

  This was the perfect location, walking distance to everything we need. Paul was very friendly. Our stay was easy and stress free. Love that we can walk to the beach, shopping , and restaurants! Would stay here again!

  66 Beachwalk was exactly as advertised. The unit was clean, well stocked, the beds were very comfortable. Great location , within waking distance of everything you would want to do in Waikiki.

  Rented through VRBO, but could have gotten a cheaper rate if I had gone through Captain Cook Resorts due to VRBOs fees. Still feel that the cost was worth the rental. Good 2 bedroom, good air conditioning system. A single bathroom for 5 guests was a bit tough but we knew about it going into it.

  Perfect place for our family. Easy access to Waikiki Beach Walk and International Marketplace. ABC shop below building for drinks and snacks. Nice patio to sit and enjoy breakfast. 2 bedroom so there was plenty of personal space for three people.

  Great property, ideal for our 9 night stay. The bigger Lanai gave extra room and was very useable. Everything we needed was there, including beach toys and chairs. Close to the beach and the restaurants. The shortcuts to Beachwalk made it easy to move around.

  The condo was exactly as described. A very short walk to the beach,shopping, restaurants and groceries. We loved having breakfast on the lanai and listening to the sounds of the city. When the doors were closed it was quiet and easy to rest. The beds were very comfortable. We would definitely stay again.

  This location is great with easy access to so much in Honolulu. The condo had everything we needed and was comfortable for 2 couples. We enjoyed the lanai and modern decor. Beds were very comfortable. I would stay here again. I sent a direct email to Captain cook with a few recommendations to make this a 5 star rating.

  Spacious room and great location. Has just about everything you need. A few minor imperfections(bathroom door handle missing, kitchen faucet came loose) but they were manageable. Check in was easy. Free parking is only 3-4 min walking. Keep in mind parking is additional $30-$50 at other hotel/condo per day. Will definitely stay again and recommend.

  Great location. Clean. Host was responsive and easy check in. Security at door made us feel safe and the elevators were very efficient. Off site parking is close and easy to use. Plus is on Fridays, we were able to see the fireworks from our view. Would book again.

  we had a family vacation here, 23 people in all. Spent our time seeing the sights and enjoying the views. Our furnished 2bdr condo was perfect for 2 couples. Everything you needed to enjoy the beach, even had lots of beach supplies on the veranda. Cold A/C is usually a challenge, not here, it was cool enough for my husband who likes it frosty inside! Kitchen fully stocked with appliances and dishes. full size fridge with icemaker! Comfortable beds, couch, outdoor table and chairs! No complaints!

  Location was perfect! Loved that we had a full kitchen and working AC unit. Unit and furnishings were a little outdated, but location makes up for everything. Also loved that it came with a free parking spot.

  We stayed in a 2BR/1BA unit which was the perfect size for 4 ppl. Everything was clean and everything was provided including parking which is a plus. The location was great as well walking distance to every convenience. Would highly recommend.

  The place was clean and exactly what we needed. Lots of space in the rooms, a nice common area, and 2 great balconies. The building is safe and all very clean too. Communication with the owner was easy and quick.

  This unit was perfect for the 6 (adults) of us. Location was perfect for night walks down Kalakaua Ave. A block walk to the beach was awesome. There is also a shaved ice shop called Lahaina just a few steps out the door- kids had two every day. Free parking was awesome- it's a block away but no problems at all- easy to get to. There are beach things you can use but we had our own, the table out on the Lanai was nice to sit to have a meal or conversation. We were greeted by two parakeets in the morning. The only negative was the dish washer. The soap would clump up and not clean the dishes well. I would say I highly recommend this place but, I don't want the secret to get out of how nice this place was and it be booked for our next trip. Kidding... Would happily stay here again.

  I would definitely recommend this rental as it is in a very nice location. The rental was clean and well-maintained. The only downfall is that the parking is quite a ways away so having to coordinate how to get all of your beach things to and from the car etc. can be frustrating. Also we had a little hiccup with the air-conditioning on our first day but it was fixed promptly the next morning. My last concern would be that you are asked to take the garbage out before you leave, it may seem petty but with trying to get all of your luggage and everything out as well and then going around and collecting garbage to take out to the dumpster is just a real inconvenience.

  Clean, modern place with a nice sized balcony with a view of the city. All the shopping, restaurants and beach within short walking distance. Great response times and customer service from them. The parking a block away was really only an inconvenience when arriving and departing. We didn't mind the short walk the rest of the time. There is a beeping warning signal from a building next door alerting cars exiting of oncoming cars that was slightly irritating but the biggest drawback for us was the hours and outrageous prices of the on-site coin operated washer and dryer. As long as you don't need to do laundry or run out of towels, this rental is great! Clean, modern and comfy and so close to all the conveniences.

  This condo had great amenities with lots of beach gear. The location was great right at the beginning of the Waikiki strip. Beds are comfortable and everything in the condo was very clean. Free parking was a 3-5 min walk away which is hard to beat. 2 Washer and dryers located in the building @ $5 a load. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again!

  We spent a wonderful week at this location. With 2 bedrooms it was the perfect size for our family of 5. Great amenities, comfortable beds (sofa sleeper OK for 1) workable kitchen and very quiet property. The location was perfect, an easy walk to the beach and shops. Offsite parking was extremely convenient and having our own car gave us the opportunity to explore the island further. There was one issue with the freezer being stuck shut when we arrived but Paul was extremely responsive, came back and fix the issue with immediately.
  We look forward to returning and renting this property again.

  This is a very nice condo located 2 blocks from Waikiki beach.. It was close to everything. Lots of good food is pretty close, and as stated the beach is 2 blocks away.
  
  There is also some pretty good/ basic shopping within a block of this location.
  
  The condo was laid out very nicely, and was extremely clean.
  
  I'm was very happy with this rental, and would definitely rent it again.

  Regency on Beachwalk #66 is simply amazing! Great location with easy walking access to the beach, restaurants and shops! The only annoyance was the loud beeping sound every time a car left the parking garage right next door.

  The property was spotlessly clean and the location couldn't be beaten - perfect for our vacation. Whilst we did not need to contact anyone (we had no problems, we felt confident that should we have needed anything, help was just a phone call away.

  We stayed for a week in Beachwalk 66. We absolutely loved this place. It was within a five minute walk from multiple shops, and beaches. Parking was offsite, and only a short 5 minute walk from the condo.
  
  The condo was perfect!! It slept 5 of us confortably. There were two queen beds in the rooms, and one sofa bed that was a bit to soft. The condo was very clean and well maintained.
  
  The kitchen was small, but had all that we needed. We used the fridge more than anything else, and was a full size.
  
  The view was great. On Friday nights, you can watch the fireworks from Hilton Hawaiian Village. Perfect height to see above the trees and other smaller buildings.
  
  We will be back next year for another annual trip. We will try our hardest to book this place again. Perfect place in a perfect location.

  Great location in the heart of Waikiki - only a stone’s throw from the beach and with a great view of the Friday night fireworks.
  Our only criticisms were that the sofa bed was quite uncomfortable and needs updating and the upstairs neighbors were a little noisy.
  We’d definitely book #66 again ��

  Booked Regency on Beachwalk #66 for 3 nights through Captain Cook Resorts. The staff were helpful with the reservation process but FYI they are not on site but available for questions or assistance by phone. The staff in the small front desk / reception area only assist those who rents through Outrigger [ I think ] and not through Captain Cook Resort .The staff at Captain Cook Resort though called us the next day to make sure everything was okay.Talked to Byron the day before for early check-in Friday if possible and he was very helpful and reassuring over the phone. We watched the fabulous fireworks that night from our balcony which is only on Fridays.The parking is included but it's a short block away which is a plus. Rooms are clean and beds comfortable. My husband enjoyed the washlet in the toilet. Kitchen counter a bit small but we had everything we needed. Beach supplies were available for use , beach chairs, boogie board, etc. LOCATION is great. Close to the beach and half a block to the main tourist street Kalakau. Lots of eating places around including several food trucks across the street and about 75 yds. away.There's no swimming pool, no concierge or fitness room. Laundry room is on a separate floor but we did not use it. Overall, we had an enjoyable stay and would recommend to relatives and friends.

  This filled our need for a space in Waikiki. Overall, the place was fine, but not necessarily perfect.
  
  The management company was very easy to work with and the manager met us in the pouring rain at the door to the property as promised. He gave us the keys and the tour and we sent him off and we did not need him again.
  
  A couple pluses:
  * Convenient to the beach, 7/11 and ABC just downstairs, bars, restaurants, and shopping
  * Comfortable beds, comfy couch
  
  A couple of slight dings against the property:
  * while the room itself was clean, certain aspects were pretty dirty - chairs and some throw pillows.
  * Not much for dishes/kitchen accessories
  * Parking was about two blocks away, but easy in/out with a parking card
  * Master bedroom lanai really not usable. Some business offices look right onto the lanai and you really don't have a view other than the back side of other buildings
  * The property was showing some wear, but after talking to other people that often stay in Waikiki, it sounds like many of the properties are aged.

  Our family of 6 rented two of the two-bedroom condos at the Regency on Beachwalk through Captain Cook for an 11 day Christmas vacation. We are true fans of Captain Cook - from the conscientious property manager Paul to the great location of their properties. This was our 3rd time to book accommodations through them and we've always been quite pleased. This property is within a few short steps to the beach and wonderful restaurants and retail shopping. One wouldn't even need a car unless other excursions are planned. The unit itself was very nice - clean, spacious and filled with great beach toys (umbrellas, chairs, beach towels). We will definitely be booking through Captain Cook on future paradise visits.

  Hey had a great stay in the Regency. It's a short 1 block walk to the beach, great local small restaurants nearby, and quick access to the major shops, if shopping is your thing. We rented a car and it was quick access to get onto the H1 and out to see the sights. Perfect for a small family who doesn't need to "hang out" in the condo.

  Great location in Waikiki. Property manager was very helpful. Rooms were clean, view from lanai was beautiful. Got to see Friday night fireworks from lanai. Boogie board, snorkel and cooler were great for trip to the beach. Umbrella was missing though; only umbrella stand was in the holder. AC worked great but kitchen fan was not functional. TV in the bedroom took a little figuring out to get it working. Overall, very nice room and location.

  We had a great time! It was in a great location if you are wanting to experience Waikiki Beach! Shopping, beach, easy access to activities and neatly tucked between larger, luxury hotels. The staff was professional. We also had a kitchen so we could eat snacks and some meals in the condo!

  We loved our stay here! The location is fantastic, and the manager was very responsive. The unit is lovely inside, and we appreciated the AC greatly as it was very hot during our stay. The rooms are clean and very up to date with comfortable furnishings. The kitchen was well stocked. We also greatly appreciated the fact that beach towels, chairs, and boogie boards were provided. The beach that was less than a 5 minute walk from our room was fantastic, clean, and my kids had a great time snorkeling. We highly recommend.

  We rented two condos at the Regency on Beachwalk for a family of 8. The location of the condo was so convenient (we were willing to pay a little extra because of it). It was a 3 min walk to the beach, with an ABC store, Longs Drugs, 7 Eleven, and many other restaurants all within 5 min walking distance. The unit came with a parking spot, which was super convenient and very close to the Pink Trolley. The condos themselves were clean, comfortable beds, roomy bathroom, and had all the necessities for a Hawaii vacation. We absolutely loved our stay and would do it again!

  The apartment is small but nice and the location is perfect. However, as the apartment is surrounded by air conditioning systems there is always some noise, especially during nights. Overall, I found the apartment too expensive, especially in comparison to nearby hotels.

  From the start I have been impressed with this listing. We were coming to Hawaii with 4 adults and 1 infant. Mike was extremely helpful in answering all of our questions via email and had a very quick turn around response time, sometimes even same day! Once we arrived we were able to meet up with Paul, the property manager, who met us face to face out front and walked us up to the condo while explaining all of the ins and outs (no boring what to do or not to do paperwork to read, a real person was explaining this to us!!) Paul took his time telling us all the great aspects of the condo from its 2 block walk to the beach or the 1 block walk to the main strip with all the restaurants and shopping. Paul also made himself available to answer any questions or concerns during our stay. The condo itself was amazing, very clean, accommodating for adults and children (we were even able to rent a pack n play so we didn't have to lug ours). Prime location and a parking space provided just a short walking distance away. We loved our say and this condo! 2 sets of coin operated washers and dryers are located in the same building as well as elevators. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with the breath taking 6th floor view of the beach. Even though we were not high enough to see the water we were able to watch the sunset every night. There are elevators so no need to worry about stairs. The AC units were amazing and keep the condo extremely cool while we were in it. Full kitchen allowed for meals when we didn't want to go out. We highly recommend this condo and look forward to returning here again one day. The pictures are accurate and the condo is exactly how it appears online!

  Upon arrival, it was easy to reach Paul who greeted us at the property and answered any questions we had. Older building but our suite was thoroughly updated and nicely air-conditioned. Terrific view from front lanai to watch beautiful Waikiki sunsets. Large bedrooms and although initially concerned with previous reviews about a "gap" in the bathroom door, not a big deal at all! Quiet and very safe location, but still within walking distance of the main shopping and dining locations in Waikiki. I recommend the food trucks at end of street for very good ramen and shaved ice @ reasonable prices. Parking spot that comes with the unit was also a bonus. Although we were technically not Outrigger's guests, the front lobby staff was very friendly. My main gripe was paying a $200 "cleaning fee" and still being asked to clean out the fridge + take out the garbage at end of stay.

  It's challenging to find reasonable hotel accomodations for a family of 5 (2 adults + 3 kids ages 13, 9, & 1). Opted to do this condo rental for the space & kitchen amenities. So HAPPY that we did! This provided us ample space and sleeping options with the 2 bedrooms and the living room sleeper sofa! We were even provided with a porta-crib for the baby! Condo was tastefully appointed - modern furniture & remodeled bathroom. Location was very convenient to shopping & restaurants on Kalakaua, as well as access to Waikiki Beach. Lanai was great for meals and lounging. LOVED this property! Would definitely stay here again! Paul (property manager) was very friendly and helpful! Thanks again for everything!

  Checking in was a simple affair with communication very good with Paul. Sometimes you have doubts about have you booked into the right accommodation whilst looking at the endless choices on the market,well all I can say this ticks the boxes for all you require on a stay in Waikiki. Shops,Restaurants,Bars & of course the Beach all on your doorstep what more do you really want. The Condo is of good standard & has all you require for a pleasant stay ( apart from no scissors, opening your fresh coffee etc) whilst swimming at the beach in front of military museum we encounterd a Turtle just to add a special memory of our visit. The balcony was a great asset, not only to watch the fireworks, but to eat breakfast & evening drinks whilst chilling out. You won't have issues on purchasing food & drinks in this location, with ABC,7eleven, & Longs Drugs stores all within 200metres. Would we stay here again, you better we would Thanks for the memories.

  Location fantastic, Cleaning could have been better considering the charge that was added to the rental cost. Did not like that the key cards did not work at night time on the main doors once the doors were closed, Paul the Manager said it was because our cards had probably been put next to our credit cards but this was not the case and by the looks of the cards they had been well used which seemed like they had been de-activated before we got them. It would have been nice if we could have had our problems sorted out by going to the reception area however because the Condo was privately owned we could not use the reception facilities or the swimming pool at the nearby Outrigger Hotel. Overall though we really liked the Condo and we enjoyed being in Walkiki.

  Conveniently located next door to an ABC store and around the corner from a 24 hours Longs Drug. On a small round across from food trucks and restaurants, but only a block away from the main attraction and two blocks from the beach. Small (as most condo's are in Waikiki) but smartly laid out plans to create a spacious bathroom and two bedrooms. AC blew cold, windows to the lanai was huge and wide, great for indoor+outdoor living. Parking is offsite the next street over (short cut through the Trumps parking lot). I only have 2 hang ups, which isn't bad but should be noted. Lovely sliding bathroom door BUT a gap opening along the back allowing for sight into the the bathroom window which reflects the shower. And the key card entry is very sensitive, two of our three cards got deactivated (no, we did not leave it with our cell phones or by magnets) by the second day, you can not bother the staff because it's a privately owned property and our property manager was off, so it was a scary two days of wondering if our third card would be deactivated and my party of 6 would have no way of entering or contacting someone for help. Overall, my family had a great stay and would definitely rent the same place again.

  What a great place! Very central to the beach and shopping / restaurants. 2 large bedrooms, full kitchen, comfortable living area. Spotlessly clean. Paul (manager) was wonderful. I would definitely stay here again.

  Great location close to restaurants, shops and short walk to beach. The balcony was excellent and enjoyed the Friday night firework display. Only disappointment was we thought the apartments had access to a swimming pool which was not the case. Would recommend this property.

  It was a pleasant journey in Honolulu in general speaking, especailly for staying in Captain Cook Rental Estate. The location is perfect, just center of living area, very near to 24hrs supermarket, shopping mall, beach and other entertainment areas. The cleaning situation was good when check in, kitchen and furniture condition, as well as service people are good. It is deserve to recommend to friends if they want to travel to Honolulu and want to liver in down town area.

  The Condo was comfortable, very clean and updated to rival any top hotel you could stay at, with the Bonus of a large bathroom, plenty of awesome towels, a full kitchen and 2 balconies . Beds were comfortable, AC worked great, and the location was convenient to the beach, the strip, and to some very cool food trucks. Hard Rock and Nakamura Ramen literally a 2 minute walk away. There are 2 top rate sushi and 1 zagat italian restaurant located on the first floor of the unit. View out the front Balcony of the city and mountains beautiful.

  Loved the air conditioned condo. Was perfect for a family of 4. Short walk to the beach. The only concern I had was the sliding door to the bathroom, which didn't seem to make the restroom as private as I'd like. The door was difficult to close all the way. I'm sure there's room for a regular door.

  We stayed at this unit for 5 days with another couple and found it very comfortable. The sliding patio doors and sizable patio really added to the space. The condo was in a great location - only a few blocks from the beach and right around the corner from the main strip of Waikiki with tons of shopping and dinning. The Property Manager was very accommodating and informative when meeting us at the property and recommended a few local restaurants and events happening over the week, which we really appreciated.
