  We stayed for 30 days. The location was excellent, only one block from Kalakaua main street and Waikiki beach. The guarded parking was included in the accomodation and we had no problem to find a parking space everyday. The property manager or his assistant responds quickly. I hope, the bath room could be little bigger. The laminate floor was not clean, when we checked in. So we purchased the Swiffer and cleaned couple times a week. There were small coffee shop and small size of mini-mart in this building. If the guests want to eat decent meal and grocerey, we need to go out. The good news is, there are many good places to eat and grocery stores around this building. If you are sensitive with a noise, the air conditioning and fridge noise could be slightly troublesome.
  
  Overall, however, we were satisfied to have spent our time there with this price.

  This property was properly described. It was clean and we felt secure. Garage was easily accessible and was guarded 24/7 for rental car. Property management was courteous with prompt response. One block off beach and within walking distance to shopping. Would not hesitate to book again when returning to Oahu Hawaii

  We would highly recommend staying at the Waikiki Banyon. It is in a great location. There was free parking, and the condo had all of the comforts of home. The breakfast shop in the lobby was perfect for a quick bite to eat. We are already planning another trip next summer

  Our host was very informative, and the room was awesome. We really enjoyed our stay, and the location was close to the beach and to all the shops in Waikiki. I would definitely stay here again!

  We enjoyed our stay at the Waikiki Banyon! The place was clean and spacious, with a great view! The full kitchen was awesome! The parking was perfect! To top it off it was only a short walk to the beach! You really couldn’t ask for more.

  Great stay at this rental. It’s the perfect condo, spacious, close to the beach , easy parking. Communication with host was easy and code to enter was perfect. Condo had everything needed. Pool was big and always had lots of lounge chairs. Coffee shop in lobby and little convenience store was handy!

  We had a really great stay here, not only was it very clean but also super accessible and a very short walk to the beach. We were able to get out for a walk every evening with our young kids. Highly recommend!

  Overall we enjoyed our stay! Great views from the 20th floor. Parking garage was a nice perk though very tight (recommend a smaller car if renting). About a 7-8 minute walk to Waikiki Beach. Host was professional and gave us everything we needed.

  The location is great, close to the beach and main strip in Waikiki. The condo is in good condition, could use new paint on the walls to help keep the condo looking top notch. I loved that they had a play structure next to the pool, which is great if you have young children.
  The AC will not cool the bedroom section if you have the doors closed, but the unit did come with a fan you can use and you can open the windows.

  建物は古いが部屋は充分に快適に過ごせました。引き出しタイプの収納スペースが多くとても便利でしたが、クローゼット以外に洋服などをかけれるフックがあるとよかった。エアコンの音が大きいので気になる人はいるかもしれません。ビーチへは2ブロックほどで徒歩圏内。ビーチチェアは1つ壊れていて利用できなかったのが残念。ワイキキ中心部へは距離がありますが、駐車場は利用しやすいのでレンタカーがあれば移動しやすくスーパーも近くて便利な立地です。エレベーター内が魚のような匂いで臭かった。エレベーターは誰でも利用できるので̋

  Overall the trip was fantatsic. Communication prior to trip on what to expect from the rental and Hawaii in general was clearly communicated by Capt Cook resorts.
  
  We easily found the unit and check-in was smooth. We found the unit moderately clean and tidy. Frankly a deep cleaning is needed. Kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, studio condo sufficient for our needs. We were able to locate a Safeway close and ABC stores for things required. A car here is a must!
  
  The location in Honolulu was fantastic! Only 1.5 blocks from Waikiki beaches and all the restaurants/stores. That was a plus.
  
  Parking garage had ample spaces on 3-5 levels. Felt safe. The door key from the garage to the elevators was open all days except 1 oddly enough since our concierge stated we would need to get into elevator lobby's.
  
  Elevators worked OK. There are 4 and with 30+ floors. Seemed like the last few days only 2 were working so at times wait times occured.
  
  The pool was good. Hot tubs could be warmer. We spent alot of time at Waikiki beach and the pool.
  
  They also had a samll general store and coffee shop. There was little noise(good).
  
  We had some problems getting TV to sync up between streaming and regular TV. Called our concierge and he stopped by Super Bowl Sunday to assist. Thanks Byron!
  
  Overall we enjoyed our stay.

  The first thing you will notice is that the apartment is a little smaller in person than in the photos. This might be standard practice for many VRBO lessors but it is a little misleading. Bathroom is small but adequate. Bathroom sink being located outside of bathroom is also a small compromise. Fold away bed has slightly bent frame and takes a little technique to close ( push to left side of bed frame at top left corner of mattress as it is folding away). Trash trucks come in at 5:30 am to empty dumpsters from hotel across the street! If windows are closed you won’t hear it, but it woke me up several times. I realize this is out of the control of the owner but it is reality. Otherwise a great unit in a great location. Full kitchen, nice balcony, nice city view, a bit of ocean view, easy in and out, building has a convenience store, coffee shop and parking was easy and available, guest could also park temporarily which was nice. Oh and fireworks on Friday night! A good value and responsible management. Would rent again.

  Our stay in this condo was wonderful. Location is amazing, only two blocks from Waikiki Beach and all the high end shopping. The free parking is great, and is attached to the residence towers. It is very easy to use. The king-size bed was super comfy, located in its own bedroom. There is a slight view of the ocean from the bedroom. The kitchen had everything we needed for our week-long stay. Waikiki is a great location, only 20 minutes from the airport. It is a great location to launch off and see the rest of the island. We would definitely stay in this condo again. The property manager is extremely responsive and helpful. He even brought a brand new fan when he found out that we are white noise sleepers. We found the condo to be very clean, and a great value. If coming to Oahu for the first time, don’t forget to make reservations for the USS Arizona memorial many weeks in advance. You also need reservations to climb Diamondhead. The same goes for Hanauma Bay, which are done about 2 days in advance. Note that these sell out within five minutes each day. Don’t forget to try the local Hawaiian food at Rainbow Drive-In! We found sea turtles at Haleiwa Beach Park and also at Army Beach, note state law is to keep at least 10 feet away from them.

  Location is amazing and i like that parking is included too. It was great to see that all 4 elevators working unlike the last year stay only two were working that made horrible wait time. The waikiki banyan breeze downstairs is very convenient to get coffee. The Building is outdated but for price it’s not surprising. The room was good overall for family of 4. The bathroom was clean and bonus that toilet had bidet. Only thing i did not like was that bathroom had a slight odor and the bathroom sink and shower did not drain well.

  The property description accurate regarding the location, layout especially the Big mirror in the bedroom. You can see the ocean view in both side.   Condo was very good. Parking was easy. Location was convenient and close to everything. The condo was clean. Kitchen was complete. The bed squeaks with even the slightest movement. The only thing the building needed was an ice machine. Pool rules were too strict. We couldn’t even toss a ball around. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay.

  We booked this condo for a week-long stay. We've never been to Hawaii and relied on Google Maps to help us figure out what area in Waikiki to stay in. We still had some concerns but booked this condo based on its location and other amenities like free parking. Thrilled to say it exceeded our expectations. The condo is small but it was very clean. Cleanliness is a make or break thing for us with rentals and this one was clean and smelled nice. There was an adequate supply of towels, including beach towels, and bedding for the sofabed. Because of the small living area and one TV, the seating situation can be a bit awkward but we made the best of it. We had a flight delay on the way to Hawaii so finding out that there was a McDonalds within a 5 minute walk was a relief when we finally arrived several hours after we were supposed to. There is no dishwasher but the kitchen is well-equipped and we had everything we needed to prepare meals. We had a sliver of an oceanview from one end of the balcony and there was a collection of beach toys on the balcony so no need to buy them. We used the beach umbrella and a boogie board every time we went to the beach, which was a short 2-3 block walk away. The one AC unit works hard to keep the entire unit cool but we were there in December. Turning off the AC and opening the sliding door and side window was all the air we needed on most days. Overall, a very comfortable and convenient stay.

  The condo was spacious and comfortable. The property itself was dated and can use some cosmetic fixes. The description of the property was accurate, and we we were three long blocks away from the beach. Appreciate the beach chairs, umbrellas, and boogie boards that were supplied with the rental. Communication was clear and prompt when questions were asked. The property was reasonably priced, and came with a parking space, which was vital for our stay. Overall, I would recommend the condo and property management company.

  Been to Oahu multiple times, stayed at Waikiki Banyan twice. I would definitely stay again at this place. We loved the heated bidet! Super clean condo. The condo have an oven with all the baking trays, used it twice to reheat pizza. They even have beach gears, that we used for a week. Loved the views from 20th floor. Free parking is also a plus. We were able ti check-in on time and Byron was very helpful in assisting us how to use the automatic door lock. Felt very safe during our stay. We enjoyed having breakfast and in balcony with the beach view on one side and diamond head on the other side. Condo is pretty spacious for a family of 3. Would definitely stay again at this place. Condo pricing was very affordable for a 7 night stay!

  Place was great for our 2 week work vacation, staff was accommodating and helpful. The condo was stocked with all the items we needed, especially since not all the restaurants were open or fully serving. It only gets 4 stars because there was no dishwasher and the room dividers didn’t work as smoothly as the should have but everything else was perfect!

  The suite is great, comfortable, close to Waikiki and included everything a tourist needs. The walk to Safeway for groceries isn’t very far but there is an option to order what you want and they will deliver it to your temporary residence. The condo is well maintained & furnished and was very clean. Checking in and out was painless and very easy. I look forward to staying there again.

  No problems--unit was quiet and well equipped. Did feel that the toilet and tub needed some more scrubbing. There were lots of towels, dishes etc. so all in all a good stay.

  Stayed here for a week on our most recent vacation and enjoyed it very much. We have stayed at the Waikiki Banyan before and enjoy staying there because it's a great value. The pros are: reasonable price, free parking spot and wi-fi included, close to beach, and you have a kitchen and fridge for drinks. The only con is that the building is a bit dated but many of the rooms have been renovated. This unit was quite nice and had a electronic bidet seat, updated kitchen, and also had a better than i thought partial ocean view you could see from the patio. Some body boards, beach chairs and umbrella were also available on the patio. The room and linens were clean and beach towels were available and there was an air-conditioner. There is one queen bed and a big queen sized sofa bed. The TV was nice and had many channels to watch as well as built-in Chromecast. Upon arrival they also had a fresh lei and a pack of one pot coffee, soap, shampoo and dishwashing soap and a sponge. The expectation is that you leave the room in the condition when you arrived, which included throwing the trash out. The management company, Captain Cook, was great. It was the first time I dealt with them. They sent many quick confirmation emails and instructions which were easy to follow and also called in to ask how we were doing. We were very appreciative that they gave us a very late check in as our flight wasn't until 11:30 pm at night and it would have been a hassle if we had to check out at 11 am and drive around for several hours. Thanks to Byron and Captain Cook Resorts. Looking forward to a future stay in Honolulu.

  Checkin and checkout was fast and efficient. Byron met us and gave us a parking permit. The unit is very clean and the ac keeps it very cool. The bed and sofa beds are very comfy. Unit includes all the tools needed to make a nice breakfast or meal when you are too tired to go out. They provide bath and beach towels. They also updated the toilet with one of the Japanese ones that wash your butt. Hubby loved that feature. We live staying in this unit because it is clean, includes parking and is super close to Kuhio beach.

  Our stay was excellent. Byron was outstanding and responded very promptly to small concerns. We appreciated the beach umbrella and chairs.   The unit is very comfortable for two people. We stayed in the unit for 59 days and would like to suggest that extra kitchen towels, paper towels, and toilet paper be provided. Also a small umbrella for rainy days, a smart tv, and the ice maker.

  The condo is comfortable and it’s great for 2 people. This year Waikiki has a little more rainy days so an umbrella would be very much appreciated. Also, we would like to have an extra package of toilet paper versus only an extra roll for some of us that do not have a car.

  T1 #2002 is a well appointed Waikiki Banyan condo. The kitchen, especially, has just about anything one needs for a one week stay! The condo was very clean, the closet was well stocked with towels and the view from the lanai was very nice.

  Flight arrived on time and I setup an appointment with the property Manager(Byron) as soon as I got my rental car. He was there to meet and greet me on time and gave me a nice orientation. He even pointed to me what is missing and took care of a lot of things. (got me beach chairs and Umbrella as well as the access key from Parking lot.) He also pointed to me that the Toilet roll holder was missing. Although that was not fixed during our stay we managed to live without it. Specific things that could have improved our experience :
  1) it would have been great if condo stocked simple kitchen essentials like salt and pepper and cooking oil. I had to go fetch that at odd hours to make something for my infant.
  2) there was no laundry detergent even for a single use, and I had to fetch that too late in the night. (although I was given some promptly on my last day of stay when I approached my property manager)
  
  Our stay was comfortable and 3 cheers for property manager Byron.

It sounds like Byron and the housekeeping team missed the ticket on quality control. As stated in our FAQ's condiments are not provided due to spoilage, and hygienic reasons. Most of our units are close to convenience stores, your property manager will be happy to point our their locations, where you can pick up these types of items for your stay.   This is our second rental through Captain Cook, and we are just as happy this time as the first. Their customer service is great, and the properties have been exactly as pictured on the site. For us, visiting family who live nearby, the location is perfect. But anyone would be happy to be one block from the beach, and easy walking distance to lots of restaurants, shopping, and activities.
  
  Our one suggestion, and this applies to nearly every rental and hotel we've ever stayed at in Waikiki: Some way to hang up wet beachwear would be good, either a retractable clothesline in the shower area or a fold-up drying rack. But as I said, we've run across this at nearly every place we've stayed, so it's not particular to this rental.
  
  We are so pleased to have found Captain Cook -- it will always be our go-to for rentals when we visit Honolulu!

  Was exactly like the picture we viewed online before renting , two blocks from beach , had everything we needed for our stay , really like having code lock on door rather than a card pass or key to worry about losing.

  A really nice room. The best part was when I called on the last day to request a late check out time of 8pm to catch the red eye flight, and they said yes! It was like having a bonus day to enjoy Hawaii, stress free, and then pack up for the trip home. The pull out couch was adequate, if not amazing, but it was very handy to have a second bed.

  This condo was very comfortable with a particularly well-stocked kitchen. I appreciated the cutting boards, the food storage containers (I cut up a pineapple) and the coffee maker. Each condo in the Waikiki Banyan is different and I loved the beautiful countertops in the kitchen and bathroom. The bed was comfortable. The little dining table inside and the table and chairs outside were very stylish and gave the condo a "clean" look. I would make a suggestion that the owners post a sign at the entry that asks guests to take off their shoes, since that is the Hawaii way.

  We stayed at this unit last year and decided to stay at the same one this year. Great spacious place with tons of natural lights. Plenty of space to make meals for our kids. The pull out sofa came in handy. Would be nice if there was a clothes line in the bathroom to hang up our wet bathing suits. The property management was late meeting us at the condo.

  We really liked the unit, it was very nicely decorated and had many amenities and has a great location. It would be helpful to have a paper descrbing basics about the place however incase the person checking you in does not mention them, or forgets. Eg., where is the trash chute, there are extra linens in the closet , how to open up the fold out bed., etc. kitchen faucet , esp. the spray, needs repair.

  Why pay hotel prices in Waikiki when you can have much more for less for a condo by Captain Cook Resorts. Easy reservation process. Great communication prior to arrival. Great location with a one block walk to the beach. Walking distance to many great shops and restaurants. Easy access to public transportation. Complimentary parking is a huge bonus compared to hotel parking rates. I would highly recommend this property.

  Overall very happy with our stay. Condo is as nice as the pictures and the location 2 blocks from the beach is a great spot. My wife didn't find the bed too comfortable but I didn't find it horrible. Only real areas for improvement would be a more reliable wifi/internet and a phone that has an in tact antenna to help with call quality. The pool was closed during our stay for some TLC but that was reflected with a discount.

  This condo accommodated my family of four very comfortably. The condo is clean and we'll kept. All appliances and electronics were working fine. Great WiFi access. Location is amazing. Just 2 blocks away from waikiki beach and restaurants. Very safe area. We rented a car so having parking included was a plus. Great place for a family to stay especially with young children. The staff from captain cook resorts were very professional, friendly and accompanying. It made our experience even more satisfying. We will be back with this company again!

  This is our first time staying with Captain Cook, normally we stay in a hotel. Our place was beautiful and well maintained. Nice to have all the amenities right in our room. Was also nice to have the laundry facility just down hall from us too.

  The condo is a 5 minute walk to the beach. It was very clean and all appliances were either new or close to it! Looking at the photo brings back good memories. I would definitely rent again. There is a pool and hot tub on the 6th floor, a store and local coffee shop in the lobby with internet ($2.50/15 min).Free parking. Very homey. Byron, the manager was very helpful and our visit went as smooth as it could. i was initialy kind of worried because i'd never rented a condo or went thru (this is owned by Captain Cook Properties). But it all went great.-No worries. There is a sliding wooden door that separates the living room area from the bedroom which was nice. This is a great central location. Mahalo.

  Although our flight was late and arrival at the condo was approaching 8pm, Byron & James met us at the condo with a smile. Condo was super clean and convenient to Waikiki with a parking pass for the garage. Will stay there on next trip to Oahu.

  We were fortunate enough to be the first tenants in this nearly-renovated condo. The only things that could have used improvements are the bathroom (not upgraded but adequate) and sliding curtains (not upgraded and difficult to slide). But the rest of the condo was beautiful - brand new kitchen, brand new flooring, great location 1 1/2 blocks from the beach, and easy access to Highway H1. The Captain Cook staff was friendly and accommodating and the check-in and check-out processes were easy. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS CONDO!! When we come back to Oahu, we'll be booking this place again.

  We were the first folks to stay in this unit since it had been upgraded and aside from a few minor issues (didn't have garbage bags) the unit is clean, has a comfy main bed, and is in a great location. The pool for the condo is great, especially for kids, and is in good walking distance from the beach. The only real negative I would say is the the sleeper sofa is terribly uncomfortable for adults. We put our kids on there and they slept fine, but an adult would be pretty sore sleeping on it. Great experience for us and we're grateful to have stayed there!

  We stayed in this T-1 unit at the beginning of Sept'13. Captain Cook folks were very helpful during booking and arrival. It was exactly as posted. A little dated (as is the entire property) but very clean and of course convenient. It's located right off of Kuhio so plenty of access to shops and restaurant and transit, which will take you anywhere. And only a long block off of Waikiki beach. So if you forget something, you can easily go back (I did!). The partial ocean view from the unit was nice to wake up to. I'd definitely come back.

  One bedroom condo, one block from the beach with partial beach views. Captain Cook Real Estate worked with us to find the perfect condo in our vacation budget and kept us informed of any and all aspects of our condo. Upon arrival there was a rep. from Captain Cook who meet us at the main entrence, showed us the best place to park, had a parking pass for us and showed us to the condo we were staying in. Showing us the condo, the amminities available and ensuring all of our needs were meet. It was a great experience and we will be looking to Captain Cook Real Estate for future vacation rentals in the future. Thank you to Lauri and Byron and the rest of the staff at Captain Cook for all of there help!

  My sister and I spent a week in Waikiki and stayed in the Waikiki Banyan (#2002). The condo was exactly as advertised and we loved it there. The only complaint that I had was that our lanai was blocked off for our stay due to maintenance and that is completely out of the control of Captain Cook so I can't count that against them. They did let us know in advance that it was a possibility and we are supposed to get a discount for the inconvenience which I thought was nice. Prior to arriving I didn't think I would mind - but I found that once we were there it did bother me that we couldn't sit out on the lanai in the evening so the discount is much appreciated. The accommodations were excellent, we were within a couple of blocks of any bus line we needed to get us to Pearl Harbor, Diamond Head, Hanauma Bay and anywhere else we wanted to go. Overall we had a fabulous time and I would definitely recommend (and rent with) Captain Cook Resorts.

  We thought the unit was in a good location, was roomy, with a great view over the buildings to the mountains on one side and sea on the other, and it was well equipped. The people staying before our week had done some minor damage to the fixtures and fittings which we were immediately informed about and which were also fixed on the first day we were there. I did have to wash all the crockery before using it though as the plates and bowls had been placed in the cupboard dirty with dried egg, grease etc on them - yuk - this obviously hadn't been checked before our arrival. Not a big deal but didn't feel confident any of the crockery, cutlery glassware etc was clean after that until I had washed it all (no dishwasher). Overall we had a great stay in Waikiki in this unit. Thanks to the owner and property management company.

  Byron with Captain Cook was very helpful. Easy check-in and out. Great location -- a short walk to everything, yet a relatively quiet location. Parking on-site was very convenient. A great place to spend a week!

  the unit does require some updating and maintenance. the toilet leaks behind on the floor and the electrical needs updating ( the bathroom sink light connection is poor). Otherwise the unit is clean and a nice location. I would recommend this unit
