Excellent condo

There are numerous restaurants and shops within walking distance. There is very easy access to the condo and the view is amazing. The condo is well appointed with towels, beach chairs, boogie board, full kitchen is an older unit, so does need some upgrades but over all not a big deal. The bedrooms are great. One king sized bed with huge bathroom and walk in closet and access to deck. Smaller bedroom with two twin beds and very adequate sized bathroom . Closet is large. All in all would highly recommend condo for your stay.

Great Beachfront Property
San Jose, US, December 16, 2024 December 2024に7泊滞在Well appointed, clean, beautiful views, very secure, good location and very friendly staff. Although assigned a parking space it was not explained how to use other than using valet parking. Not ideal for two couples to share the condo.
2nd bedroom had a fold out bed and tv in the closet, so left little to no room for clothes. Luggage had to be stored on either side of the beds. Only four very small drawers for storage.Response from Captain Cook Resorts

During your next visit, should you encounter any problem, we hope you will allow your property manager to resolve any issue during your stay. They are on call for you 24/7 for you. We value you as a customer and hope you will keep us in mind for future vacation plans.

Beautiful Waikiki Beach Condo

The condo saved our vacation

We found tourist activities unbelievably expensive.
The only thing that made our vacation was the condo on the 23rd floor. The condo was spectacular. After the monsoon the view from the 23rd floor balcony was breathtaking, with fabulous sunsets to the right and a huge view of Diamond Head on the left.
We took a few drives, ate at some exotic restaurants and a couple off the beaten path. They were okay. The condo was the saving star of our trip!Response from Captain Cook Resorts

Beyond our expectations!

Unit was exactly as described. We found it well stocked with items we needed, including beach chairs. Very very clean and well maintained. The location was perfect. Right on the beach and a McDonald's at the corner (cheap coffee and breakfast). Bonus surprise was the outdoor kitchen/grilling area. Super clean. We made our reservation and the staff was there lighting the grill and making sure we were all set. Use of the area included the outdoor fridge, tables counter/bar area. We LOVED it. Unit came with valet parking (never waited more than 1 min for car). I would 100% stay here again.

Excellent unit - urban, directly across from beach

The condo building a set back from the main drag with a covered awning with auto access on the side street. When you step out of the covered walk, you're directly on Kalakaua Ave, which is the primary beachfront street down Waikiki. Kalakaua is lined with shops, restaurants and hotels, so if you're looking for a quiet hideaway, this isn't it! (Don't worry - visitors must pass through the staffed lobby and must use a key to access the upper floors so there's no risk of anyone other than guests accessing the units). The public beach access is directly across the street, probably less than 100' from the front of the covered awning, so beach access is splendid.
The unit has everything you need - beach chairs, umbrella, full kitchen, wifi, valet parking - you name it. The condition of the unit was excellent. (The only minor complaint was a lack of available electrical outlets to charge our phones).
This is a perfect unit for a typical family of four, with the two bedrooms (master with private bath) and second bedroom with the hall bath.
Overall, this is nearly the perfect unit - again, so long as you're comfortable among the more urban beachy part of Honolulu.Response from Captain Cook Resorts

The only recommendations are it would be nice to have a big salad bowl and servers and a salad spinner, and a big platter. There were no spices (not even Salt & pepper) or foil or saran wrap or baggies. That would have been nice to have also. All in all, loved our stay there and would come back! Great location too!

Most of our units are close to convenience stores, just ask your property manager at check in where you can pick up other types of items for your stay. The space was perfect with a lot of gathering space and great balcony with views that were spectacular.
We had a pretty packed few days at Waikiki and do not take advantage of the amenities but we went to the pool and common space on the 4th floor before we left and sure wish we had more time and could take advantage.

Great property, amazing views
Bloomington, US, January 4, 2022 December 2021に7泊滞在Apartment was well-located, clean and had a great layout. Views were spectacular. I won't complain about traffic noise because it's almost impossible to avoid in Waikiki -- it's the price you pay if you want lots of restaurants, bars and shopping within walking distance. (If you want quiet, go to the north shore or another island.) The pool-deck and grilling areas are excellent and well-maintained. Our WIFI and TV did not work for first 48 hours because fiberoptic line was cut outside of unit. Byron provided a hotspot within 24 hours and the cable company repaired full functionality the day after that. (Repair was delayed because we arrived on Saturday - I'm sure you what it's like to deal with cable companies...) When we return to Waikiki, we'll definitely try to rent this unit.

Not only are you literally on Waikiki Beach but close to great shopping and restaurants. Property is very safe with staff on duty 24 hours a day. Highly recommend.

Wonderful stay

We love staying at the Waikiki Beach Tower because of its location, updated units and views. This unit was perfect for our family - comfortable, clean, expansive views. Although not recently renovated, the unit was still in great condition and everything was is good working order. The building staff are friendly and always happy to help. They make it especially easy to arrive early and store luggage; and Captain Cook was great at keeping us appraised of when our unit would be ready (it was ready early). The other building amenities (gym, pool, lounge, locker room, etc.), are great (were fully remodeled a few years ago).

2302 Westin Tower Spring Break

The view is amazing and you are very close to the action. The downside of the unit is primarily in the fact that it is rather dated- kitchen appliances could use updating as could some of the bathroom fixtures. Maybe a few power strips made available as well as the unit is fairly short on the number of outlets. Also keep in mind that because you are in the heart of Waikiki, the unit can be a bit noisy from the street noise.

A brilliant apartment
Wellington, New Zealand, February 4, 2020 January 2020に8泊滞在I stayed in the apartment with my adult children for a week. The two bedrooms and bathrooms are a good size. The location is fantastic - just across the road from the beach. It was exactly as I had expected from the website. On arrival I felt instantly relaxed. The apartment was very clean and tidy (including the oven��), full of personal bits and pieces which made it quickly feel like our home for the week. The kitchen is fully equipped and excellent beach chairs and an umbrella are supplied. The balcony is a great size and I can’t imagine a better view anywhere in Waikiki! I highly recommend this apartment.

Great condo, incredible location...insane view!!!

Check-in was as simple as you get, we met Byron in the lobby and went directly to the condo. Byron walked us through the place, thoroughly explained the amenities and answered all our questions.
The building’s staff was friendly and helpful...especially Adam (valet)...never saw him without a smile. Adam made the self-park option very convenient for our needs.

Amazing View

Nice getaway

The washer/dryer needs to be updated as they have a strange smell. We had to close the door when using them and generally just avoided doing laundry.

It was too windy to use the pool, but it wasn't a big deal. The manager was helpful and the condo was extremely clean. The view was TO DIE FOR. The pics showed exactly what it looks like. Hated to leave. Close walking distance to shops and restaurants.

Best View on the beach!

Near everything. Condo had everything we needed. Comfortable. Clean. Upscale and then some. Byron, our agent was easy to reach and communicated well as we checked in and got settled. I'd recommend this place to anyone thinking of making the trip to Oahu! Can't beat it.

Captain Cook real estate was fantastic to work with- responsive and attentive to make sure we were satisfied.
Only negative is the condo kitchen and bathrooms are a little “dated” and could use updating. But everything was functional and clean, which matters the most to us!

The property was even better than anticipated - clean and well supplied, superb location, and kind and helpful staff made it truly memorable. The two bedroom, two bath condo was ideal for us and our two small children, with plenty of room to spread out. We cooked breakfast there every morning and so enjoyed starting our days on the lanai. The view truly cannot be beat. This was a wonderful spot to stay, we can't wait to come back.

Our Place in Paradise
Leslie F. から Katy, United States, November 20, 2018 November 2018に8泊滞在My husband and I visited Hawaii with my in-laws. During our stay everything was perfect in Waikiki Beach Tower #2302. On the last day we all lamented that we were leaving "our little place in paradise." The in-laws are not in great health, so the perfect location of the condo gave them an unparalleled view if they were not feeling up to excursions on any particular day. They could see ALL of Waikiki, Diamond Head and of course the beach below. The condo was spacious and well enough equipped that we never got in the way of one another and if one of us wanted to watch a different football game than the others (our priorities) there were ample TVs on which to watch them or other shows. The cable subscription seemed to offer every channel on the planet! The furnishings were lovely, the beds super comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook or store food from the ABC store immediately down stairs. The convenience of shopping and restaurants to the location of the condo cannot be overstated either. You can easily walk to whatever you need. In fact, my husband and I walked to and from the top of Diamond Head from the condo. Finally, I would like to offer my sincerest thanks to our property manager Byron for allowing us a late departure. Especially for my in-laws, and indeed my husband and I as well, it made it much easier to depart later rather than figure out what to do in our car for part of the day. We are most grateful! The management company itself was excellent and very solicitous, checking on us several times during our stay to make sure that we were enjoying ourselves and comfortable in the unit. Also, ALL of the employees at Waikiki Beach Tower were friendly, professional and cheerful. They were constantly cleaning the building, working on it and keeping it up. The valets were speedy and kind. There were events sponsored by the building management including a wine and cheese happy hour which were fun to attend.

Great location with fantastic views

Byron met us on arrival and was very efficient and helpful. It was great having a washer and dryer in the condo and the location was perfect - right across the road from the beach and lots of shops and restaurants on the doorstep. I'd like to give an extra mention to Byron for being so helpful when I left my cell phone in the apartment on departure. He arranged to have it sent back to me in Australia straight away. Great ocean view!

A fully equipped kitchen is helpful for having meals and the washer and dryer in the apartment are convenient. You can easily step out, cross the road and you are at a family-friendly section of the beach. This is definitely a home away from home.

Fabulous location / view!

The Condo itself was vry clean and well appointed. Had all of the necessities. Byron, our contact was great, though we didn’t need to call him since all was so good. Also, recommend using 5he provided website from Captain Cook Resorts for booking excursions. Save some money.

・Byron-san was very kind.
・Towels and bedclothes were so pleasant clean environment and the quantity was sufficiency.
・There were five beach chairs.
(The disadvantages)
・There were unwashed four mag cups in the rack.
・The tank cover of toilets was broken. That need replacing. Although that was unreciprocated.
・Byron-san made a response to the trouble of shower. But the refinement came short of our expectation.
・The washing machine was frowst.

Fabulous condo, amazing views, fun location!
Barbara U., September 1, 2017 August 2017に7泊滞在We stayed here for one week in August and the condo was wonderful! Well decorated, lots of room, well equipped kitchen (including salt and pepper!). The views are amazing - so beautiful. It was fun to watch all the surfers and boats. The hot tub and pool on the fourth floor were really great to have as well. It was very windy when we were there so we didn't use the BBQs but the area where they are was really nice. The exercise room was very well equipped and clean - it was better than my gym at home! It was fun to work out in the morning, walk across the street for a dip in the ocean then a quick hot tub before the day's adventures. The pull out couch mattress was very comfortable to sleep on. The unit has a keyless entry so you don't have to worry about managing keys.
This condo is at the east edge of Waikiki so you are close to everything. You can walk right across the street to Wall beach which is nice and calm. The water is so warm! There are lots of restaurants in walking distance and the many ABC stores (one is steps away) have a lot of what you might need, especially when you first get there.
The management company was great. There were supposed to be four beach chairs but there were only two when we got there. Bryon quickly got us two more, right in time for a big family picnic on the beach.
I would definitely stay here again and work with Captain Cook in the future. In my opinion, they were much better than previous vrbo experiences we have had.
