  Very nice Condo overlooking Waikiki beach. Great view. Access to very nice restaurants & rather upscale shopping, if interested. There is a lot of traffic in the area.
  The condo is well apportioned with washer/dryer, use of boogie boards, beach chairs. Plenty of beach & nice, warm water to swim in

  Very good, located with very easy access to the beach, and eating places within a 5 to 10 minutes walk. About a 35 minutes ride in a taxi from the airport. Very convenient instructions for arrival. Local busses are a good travel option, get a day pass from the ABC store.
  
  Just suggest that the blind in the kitchen window is replaced with a working one.

  We absolutely loved this rental! It had everything we needed and more! The photos do not do it justice. We absolutely hated having to leave...Beautiful sunsets right from our lanai!! We would definitely rent this unit again, and would definitely use Captain Cook again!

  My wife and I enjoyed our stay at Waikiki Shore. The location is right next to the beach, and a short walk to the nearby stores and restaurants. The view is great! The unit was clean, with a good layout, and well-stocked with household supplies. Communication with Joy was great, and she arranged for parking nearby. Paul was very helpful in getting us checked in. We hope to return in the future. Thank you!

  Great location, very comfortable, well equipped unit. The only issue is that one of the elevators was out for replacement. Almost 200 units using one very slow elevator was quite trying at times. But, once you got off, you were in heaven. Beachfront location. Close to Waikiki shopping. Wonderful view overlooking the park and and up the beach to the West. Would definitely book this unit again. And by that time, two brand new elevators.

  My name is Kathy LaFont. I traded condos with my daughter. She was in unit 1316. Condo 1110 was very nice and well stocked. The only negative for me was the pull out sofa. The mattress was terrible. It was very uncomfortable and bumpy. There was a foam pad in the closet that we used, but it was too big for the bed and kept slipping down and did not look very clean. Also, there was an extra blanket in the closet that was very dirty. If we had not used the sofa sleeper, I would have said the condo was excellent.

  Just spent two wonderful October weeks in unit 1110. After staying in many Waikiki hotels in past years, we splurged on the extra space and panoramic views of this condo, and it was worth it!
  
  It’s in a lively urban setting, and while there was occasional noise from passing airplanes and construction at the Army Museum below, we loved hearing the ocean, nearby music, and birdsongs from the lanai. With the windows closed and the A/C on, the unit was very quiet.
  
  The unit’s furnishings are pleasant and comfortable, homey rather than luxurious. The bedding was spotless, and the two-twin configuration worked well for the two of us. The laundry area was a great convenience.
  
  The kitchen was adequately supplied for our needs. Although we didn’t cook, we used the microwave and toaster for breakfasts and reheating leftovers. Eating some meals at the dining table or on the lanai allowed us to avoid crowded restaurants and save money while enjoying that great view. We used Grubhub a few times, and the large ABC store on Lewers had a surprisingly good selection of fresh food.
  
  The location is convenient to the Halekalani for sunset cocktails with music, and to Roy’s for excellent food. Best new restaurant find: Island Vintage Wine Bar in the Royal Hawaiian shopping center. Vegan poke bowl, ahi sandwich, fruit and cheese plate were all excellent.
  
  We enjoyed the friendly local vibe of Vanessa Alputila at the Barefoot Beach Bar; also, taking an Uber to the Lyon Arboretum for a tropical garden experience.
  
  Bonus: great view of fireworks from the lanai on Friday nights.
  
  Our property manager Paul greeted us promptly and made us feel welcome. We didn’t have any issues during our stay.

  The unit worked out great.. The unit was clean and everything worked though I must confess we didn’t cook much. The bed was nice and I slept great on it. Two positives: 1) The location of the building is great. It’s right on the ocean and all of Waikiki is within an easy walk, 2) The view from the lanai is epic. Two complaints. 1) The pullout bed is not comfortable. My kids did not sleep well on it, 2) There is not enough surfboard storage racks for the size of the building and as a result nothing was available during our stay.

  The Condo is beautiful and clean . The location is incredible. The views are fantastic. Also there was plenty of storage and the kitchen is a great size . Paul was very responsive. I would definitely stay here again .

  We enjoyed 2 full weeks here on Waikiki Beach. The condo is fabulous with beautiful views and most everything you need for your vacation. The property manager, Paul, was very helpful and responsive. We experienced a small plumbing issue but Paul had it resolved quickly.
  
  The beach services on site: beach chairs & canoes, plus the Steak Shack. The condo is also within walking distance to many great restaurants.

  Condo is located right on the water at western edge of Waikiki beach. It's perfect because it's not SO close to central Waikiki as to be slammed w/ tourists. Lanai is FAB, view is just stunning. Make sure to hit the Steak Shack nearby and eat on lanai. We miss it already!!

  We loved our condo. It had everything we could have needed, including 4 chairs, umbrella, raft, beach towels and a great location. We live on the water in a nice home with a water view. This place had an amazing view on top of everything else. We will come stay again.

  Because big typhoon attacked Kansai, KIX airpot was temporary closed, so we couldn't go back to Kansai on time.
  However, we got CaptainCook staff's big supports, fortunately we could stay the same room one more night. Thank you very much for all of your support.

  Stayed with 3 generations - aged 21 to 88yrs and couldn't have had a better location. Close to beach, shopping centres and the relaxing Fort DeRussey Park and beach next door to look out onto. Relax with a drink while watching the sunset - superb. Wished it could have been longer.

  My husband and I were celebrating our 30th anniversary. We enjoyed staying in the condo and found it a very good location to get to the beach or walk into do some shopping. The condo was clean and organized. We did notice it did not have an ice maker so we picked up a bag of ice from the store. We love the renovations that you did on the place.

  perfect view, very spacious room, enough kitchen wear, rice cooker was awesome, more than enough towels, etc. our stay was very comfortable and satisfying. great access to shopping, bus stops, and of course to the beach.
  floor could be cleaner (our feet got dirty after walking in barefoot). bathroom drain was not good but the property manager came right away to fix it after we called.
  overall it was a perfect choice and would love to stay there again!

  Unit 1110 was everything we expected. Well furnished, clean and the view wonderful. Close to restaurants and shopping. The only criticism was that the telephone in the unit was not in working order. This was reported, but no remedy was made.

  We had a wonderful time at the condo. Paul was fantastic. This are just minor suggestions that would be helpful for other guests. A swifter mop (the cleaning pads were provided but not the mop) a bigger flying pad, only a very small one provided, coasters for the glass table tops and glass cleaner.

  Although the pictures of the rental unit were beautiful,you never no for sure until you get there.This unit was all and more than expected.There might not be a better view of Waikiki beach and area than this one.Step onto the beach from your condo or watch the sunsets from your balcony.Shopping of world class steps the other direction from beach.Condo management was excellent and were very helpful.We would definite stay here again.

  We really enjoyed our stay in this property. Paul the property manager was great in helping with our baggage and getting us settled in. The unit is in a great location with stunning sunset views.

  The condo was beautiful, roomy, everything is so clean and the view is absolutely wonderful. We could sit on the balcony and take pictures of the sunset and sit on the balcony and watch the fireworks from the Hilton on Friday evening. We had a blast and are already planning our next trip!!!! :-)

  Beautiful ocean view from this property, literally step out onto the beach or out the other side to the shops and eateries of Waikiki. There were no sleepless nights, plenty of space in the property and the bonus of a washer dryer and wifi available for use.

  You can't get a better view...ocean, park, hotel buildings, rainbows, sunsets, all seen from the Lanai, which is shaded most of the day, which adds to the comfort. You don't hear your neighbors. Love the washer and dryer in the room. Lots of drawers, cabinets, and a kitchen as well stocked as mine at home.

  Whilst location very handy the unit is quite drab and needs doesnt work very well if at all and there is a smell. Also garbAGE NOT PICKED UP DURING STIPULATED TIMES!

  Wonderful location, unsurpassed view, and maybe even a little slice of the "Promised Land". The Friday night Fireworks down the beach at the Hilton are a must see; ensure you are there on Friday night.
  We enjoyed this wonderful condo with its prime beachfront location and wonderful sunset views it doesn’t get much better. On Sunday there was a Birthday party on the beach with a live band, they played for hours, felt like we had a stage side seat. This was our first time renting a condo on Oahu, usually by the third or fourth day I'm tired of eating out, this allowed us to fix what we wanted when we wanted and eat it quite while enjoying the view on the lanai. We will never stay in a hotel again! The condo was well equipped with all the necessities needed for meals and drinks fixed just the way you like them. Loved the stereo, if you stay here you will know what I mean. This place is on our "fist choice" when visiting Oahu. Recommend getting the parking pass for the Fort DeRussy parking lot!
  The only bad comment was on checkout day the cleaning staff walked right in without knocking, we were sitting on the couch enjoying our last minutes before heading to the airport catch our flight to Maui. It was several hours before the required checkout time, it could have been an embarrassing moment ;) Lesson learned, hook the chain, always! Aloha, see you next year.

  We've been home less than 24 hours and are already throwing money in the jar to save up for our next trip. We LOVE our time at the Waikiki Shore and really feel at home there.
  
  The only thing that kept me from giving 4 starts on the "general condition" of Unit #1110 is that the sofa and love seat were not comfortable places to sit and read or watch TV in the evenings nor was there good light to read by. For a great many guests this is probably not an issue but but for us it was a drawback.
  
  And speaking of reading - we were thrilled to find quite a library in this unit. After we ran through the books we brought with us we enjoyed several off the shelves.
  
  The bed and pillows were comfy, the towels soft and fluffy, and there were plenty of dishes and glasses in the cupboard. I freely admit that I miss the "old days" when guests could leave spices and condiments in the cupboard for the next guy but I understand the reasons for the change.
  
  One thing that I would really like to see implemented is a strong focus on recycling. I really cringed each time I threw away a cereal box or egg carton or newspaper or pop can. Please, please consider setting up recycling collection bins. I feel certain that if the bins were readily available, future guests would thank you for it. I know we would!

  My partner and I visit Hawaii often. We always stay at Waikiki Shore. The position is awesome ... right on Waikiki beach, (the sand is at your door). The vista is superb ... right beside the low-rise Fort DeRussy (so there's no big building next door to block your view down the beach past the Hilton Hawaiian Complex with its Friday-night fireworks and all the way to Pearl Harbour!) The location is ideal (on Kalia Road, with shops and restaurants and bus-stops just a few steps away so you can reach everywhere in Honolulu easily). The apartment is perfect (apart from the view, it is well-equipped with everything you need for a great stay - including washer, dryer, all kitchen appliances, ironing gear, a good TV, phone and excellent wifi). Finally, the Captain Cook team are at your service 24/7 to fix any problems. In short, we love staying here and always return.

  The property was exactly as described and in immaculate shape. Being free from any real onstruction of views made for a terrific fireworks display Friday and Diamond Head was great on the other side of the condo, great sunset views from the balcony too!! Paul made it out to the property a little earlier so that was a plus as I was anxious to drop my gear and take a swim. Paul made an extra effort in the midst of my stay to make sure all was well, I greatly appreciated the additional care and coordination.

  We used to stay at a hotel on Waikiki. Now we stay at Waikiki Shore. For the price of a hotel room, you get an apartment. Eat breakfast on the lanai. See the sunset, the ocean, the city view from the apartment.

  After arriving at Waikiki Shores, we found out that at the lobby the receptionist let us know that they were not affiliated with Captain Cook Reality as it was a totally separate. To be very blunt the receptionist was of very little help and will go as far as to say she was somewhat rude. To travel as far as we did, we should have been advised who we could contact either from the airport or at the lobby. Even travel time can be tiring and exhausted. Once in the reserved room it was clean but still not everything in place as apparently due to a clean up from the heavy rain and leakage there still was roll away bed (couch) to be either removed. That was all taken care of by Paul, the manager. The ocean view was very nice and the room was nice and clean. Upon departure, I reserved transportation from Speedi Shuttle. However, I was not aware that their shuttle service would not drive up to the lobby to pick us up and therefore had the Activity Director placed a call to Speedi Shuttle. If we had known this we would have carried our luggage down to the street and over to the next condo or hotel where they take on passengers. No one advised us of this as we found out from finally making contact with one of the Speedi Shuttle drivers. We were very fortunate in getting to the airport on time thanks to the help of the arrivals and departures of the shuttle drivers! From now on we will be more alert and experienced to know that this will not happen again and will handle it accordingly....

  All of our guests are sent arrival instructions upon full payment. It gives detailed instructions to call us from the airport upon arrival. At that time we tell the guests if the room is available for check-in and where to go. Many of the buildings our properties are in are "condo-tel" , meaning they have a desk for the "hotel" guests which we are not associated with. Because the guest just showed up at the property, we weren't quite ready for them but quickly remedied the situation. We did have a terrible storm the night before and the lanai was covered with water. We apologize for any inconvenience. Speedy Shuttle should have told the guests where to wait.

  Great accommodations with well stocked condo. We have stayed at the Waikiki Shore several times and this was the best experience yet. It was nice to come to the condo with some basic supplies already in place. Made it much more pleasant.

  Can't beat the location for convenience and access to local attractions. A few steps and you're on the beach. Dine in and be seated with a great ocean view! We had a few issues at the apartment which were sorted as soon as possible. Could do with a new shower and fridge, but were quite usable. Didn't need the a/c as the ceiling fans and open windows provided enough cooling air. Probably need it in the summer.....although the temperature was in the 80 degrees most days at this time of year (feb/mar). Kevin, who checked us in, was very helpful and friendly.
