  Absolutely fantastic stay! The suite was wonderful! It was very clean, well stocked with everything you would need! The beds were very comfortable and the lanai was amazing, with a wonderful view of Waikiki beach. We are hoping we will be able to stay in the suite next year! We loved it so much!

  Amazing place to stay for two months. There are a few things that need to be fixed (hot water on laundry. toilet acting up in onsite-no bid deal as we had another bathroom. The shower door would not close) but even with those issues it was still fantastic. Paul is great and very approachable and will get you anything that is missing from the condo. We are hoping to stay there next year. As for the parking, it is definitely a tight space but our compact car had no issue even when there were cars in-front and beside.

  My family and I loved our stay. Kitchen was equipped with everything you need. Unit is exactly what's pictured. We watched the fireworks every Friday from the lanai. Only down side, we went during construction and only one elevator was working the entire month for all guests and workers. Other than that, we had an amazing stay and would love to go back.

  Awesome views and fantastic location right on the beach. Close to great restaurants (Tommy Bahama, Yardhouse, PF Changs) and tons of shopping. Property is quiet at night and well kept. Only disappointments at this price point were the master bathroom (cramped, outdated, toilet sits very low), the extremely tight parking space (you have to park against a wall) and the deck furniture which is white plastic. But these are minor when you spend so much time out of the condo unit. Would come back again.

  Overall the Waikiki Shore is a fantastic location to stay, can't beat this location in Waikiki right on the beach. The building is getting older but is well maintained. Looks like some exciting upgrades for 2021 coming. My only disappointment was with the plumbing in my unit, dishwasher did not work the first 2 days because the valves were turned of and then immediately after the sink drain line plugged and we had to wait 2 days before that was fixed which was poor as you require a kitchen sink if you want to use the kitchen.

  We had a phenomenal time in Oahu! I contribute a lot of this to the vacation property we stayed at. Awesome location, spacious and very clean. I would recommend this property to anyone who is thinking of going to Waikiki.

  A great choice for our eight day vacation. This condo is just as photos portray. Beautiful ocean and city views and ideal location, to shopping, restaurants and beach. All within walking distance from the condo. The parking space for this unit is small, so an SUV size vehicle will NOT fit. Condo is clean and comfortable, and staff at Captain Cook resorts are friendly and helpful. Shout out to our property manager, Paul, who was always available as needed and met us at the condo for check in orientation.
  This condo will not disappoint, and is a wonderful choice if staying in Waikiki area.

  Great place to stay for first visit to Hawaii. Relaxed position to view Fireworks Displays down the beachline. You can walk easily to Ali Moana Shopping Complex (25/30 mins) whilst taking in sites and checking out shops. This big Compkex has a Supermarket on bottom floor off parking area which is huge range of things so you can cook at unit if you prefer but also pre-pakaged meals, filled rolls, salads, fruits, baking etc. Walmart is short walk from Ali Moana (just google and it shows road. Our accommodation was slso only 20/30 minute leisurely walk to the Zoo and Aquarium. Lots if nice eating places just down the
  Lewers Road (go right out from Waikiki Shore, or walk through Outriggers side doir then through to front and take right till you turn left into Lewers Street. This takes you to long the Main street so turning left into that will head you towards Zoo etc. There are ABC stores EVERYWHERE you go which have some foods, tourist type things etc. If needing medicines, foods, makeup, soaps, toiletpaper and lots more, take first street to left called Beachwalk street from memory. At end you will see Hard Rock Cafe (nice meals) and turn to right and just along on right is a shop frontage called the Drug store from memory. Inside there is also upstairs and you will find lots of helpful things.
  Room 1218 at Waikiki Shore has plenty of cooking appliances, lovely ice and cooled water from the fridge, beds were VERY comfortable and TV allowed access to Netflix (use your own details) internet worked well when you enter password. Security guard down stairs and Castle Waikiki desk attendants were very friendly. They deal with the other people renting rooms that are nit private condos but their friendliness made stay far more relaxing. Waterfront and beach out front of Waikiki Shore was very nice to swim and sunbath. If doing Pacific Harbour Tour and Oahu Grand Island Tours, we were collected out front of the Outriggers Hotel right beside our accommodation.

  The property is in a perfect location for beach, restaurants and shopping. The view is amazing and the unit is well equipped. We appreciated having beach chairs and also a blender. There are a couple of things keeping this from a 5 star experience. The bathrooms could use some updating. We also had to wait at least 45 minutes before being met to check-in (we called from the airport as we were instructed). All, in all it was great stay and we were very comfortable there.

Unit was roomy, well appointed, clean and perfect for our family of four. the views of the beach, sunset and city skyline.   Overall I am very happy with this rental. The location was perfect. The view with balcony was great. I was able to see the Friday fireworks on the balcony. The place was clean and all of the essentials were provided. The unit itself was just lovely.
  
  The only issue I had was with the parking spot. The parking spot provided was probably the worst possible spot in the garage. It is right by the wall that sections off the parking lot. The spot is very narrow and there are cars both next to it and a perpendicular spot behind it. I checked the garage and that spot is the tightest and also shorter than any other spot in the garage. The spot is so narrow that you have to fold your mirrors to stay between the parking lines. If there is a car next to it, your car must be backed into the spot. If that car is positioned slightly beyond their line, it can make it impossible for you to back in. If there are both cars next to it and another in the perpendicular spot behind it, then it is incredibly tough to park since your angle for backing in is severely limited. For my 1 week vacation, I rented a car. For a majority of the time both cars were not there. However, when both cars were around that parking spot, I scratched my car while backing in. I feel that this would likely be the case for any renter if they encounter the unfortunate situation where the 2 other cars are also parked in their spots. Any other spot in the garage would be MUCH easier to park in. As a result, I am now dealing with the car insurance company.

  想像以上の景色の良さと掃除がゆきとどいていて、快適に過ごせました。
  キッチンには全てが揃っていました。炊飯器は象印、お茶碗やお椀、お箸もありました。パーティーが出来るようようにグラスもお皿もたくさんありました。他のサイトで予約した友人は滞在中にトイレットペーパーがなくなって自分で買わないと行けないと言っていましたが、トイレットペーパーもキッチンペーパー、洗濯洗剤なども充分な数が揃っていました。

  Wonderful "2 bedroom" condo within walking distance of everything. My only feedback is that I wouldn't quite call it a 2 bedroom. More like a living room converted to a bedroom with a giant pull wall for "privacy." Not quite the romantic getaway if traveling with kids, if you know what I mean. That said, the condo is very clean and the views fantastic with a great long balcony.

  This was our 5th time to the Waikiki Shore, its a great place on the beach and a perfect setting beside the base and park. Very quiet but close to the action on the strip. It has everything for the perfect vacation to chill out.

  We loved staying right on the beach with outstanding beach and city to Mountain View’s. The apartment was very clean, spacious and well appointed. There was everything we needed and more. Paul from Captain Cook was exceptional with his service and very generous with his time at 7am when I arrived. We would find it very difficult to stay anywhere else now after a fabulous 8 days.

  I found this VRBO and so lucky I found after looking for a place to stay for a long period of time. We stayed here twice for the 14 days we are in Oahu. It was a great experience, the most beautiful view and the unit was very spacious for 5 adults. The cleanliness of the unit was the best. It is also close to everything! and when you go downstairs the beach is literally there. I will definitely recommend and stay here again when we come back! Definitely worth the money! Paul was so great and very informative. parking was tight but its okay! will definitely come back!

  Location is within walking distance of great dining and shopping, plus direct access to the beach. Please be aware the parking space is very tight. One maintenance issue had to be addressed during our stay, was taken care of in a timely manner.

  Our vacation rental experience was truly amazing!
  The unit was super clean, beautifully decorated, had all the amenities, very accommodating and so close to downtown. The views were amazing with the beach nearby. Sitting out on the balcony at the end of a long day of site seeing was truly welcoming and felt like home. Would definitely rent this unit again. Regards Sue

  There are no words to describe this condo, location, or the ease of dealing with Captain Cook. Our property manager Paul went over and above helping us with deliveries to our apartment. The photos are absolutely 100% accurate but don't fully capture the overwhelming view experienced. Having a washer/dryer in your room is also an added bonus. The room comes with beach chairs as well - thank you. It was just perfect with heaps of room.

  お部屋は12階の一番山側でしたが、山側にも窓があることで、夜の夜景が素晴らしかったです。
  夜に帰宅したときの、玄関からの景色はほんとに素敵でした。
  金曜日のヒルトンの花火も目の前で、家族でラナイから見ることができ、よかったです。
  担当のポールさんもとても気さくな方でした。

  My family and I had a great stay with you in room 1218 last week. There were 6 of us and we never felt like we were tripping over each other. The condo was nicely furnished and had just about anything we needed. Paul reacted to my call about the broken sofa bed and a new insert arrived the day I called.I was so surprised because it was the weekend. Great service
  .
  The only MINOR complaints were that we were only given 1 dish towel and it would have been nice to have 2 as we had to wash dishes after each meal so we would have them for the next meal. We were against running the dishwasher with it only 1/3rd or less full. Also in the kitchen there are only 4 teaspoons left in the cutlery set which isn't enough for 6 people. The sofa bed linen provided only 2 pillow cases and 2 more would have been to have. Also,there were no pot holders to lift things out of the oven which for safety sake you may want to provide. As I said these are minor and we didn't even want to bother Paul as we made do without the items. .
  
  You may however have a problem brewing with the washing machine. When the drain cycle begins it backs up into the sink and then disappears when the machine goes into the spin cycle. We only recognised this because one of us happened to go into wash our hands just as the water appeared in the sink. With all the sand on towels etc. us visitors unknowingly drag in, the drain may be getting full of sand. Had the same thing happen in Kona a few years ago except that time the water came up the shower drain.
  
  This was my 3rd time back in Waikiki Shores condo and I've been very happy with every unit we have had and the friendly service Paul and Cap't Cook provides. The unit was so bright and open, the views are as the add says" million dollar view" of both beach and city and having 2 tables and 6 chairs on the lani allowed us all to be out there at one time. Thank you for your part in making our trip full of happy memo

It sounds like our team missed the ticket on quality control, as the standard for this unit is to accomadate 6 guests. A quick call to your property manager Paul would have resolved the issue right away. Please remember, our property managers work 7 days a week to see to any issues that may arise during your stay! You're on vacation - but we aren't! Thank you for alerting us to drain issue. Hope you can enjoy a return trip to our beautiful islands soon!

  Our four night stay in this beautiful condo was better than we had even expected. Enough room for the six of us (two adults, 3 teens and a 9 year old) and so close to anywhere we wanted to go, including the beach right outside the building. The views are incredible! Loved that there's beach towels, beach chairs, a boogie board and umbrella in the unit. We would definitely stay in this unit again.

  What you see is what you get in this beautiful and luxurious apartment. It is extremely bright and clean and being on the corner you get both city and (uninterrupted) beach views. Our host Paul Tucker was such a lovely man and truly made our holiday. He was warm, happy, helpful and obliging. We had come from another Captain Cook property and he very kindly allowed us to spend the entire day in another room whilst we waited for our room to be vacated which was above and beyond our expectations. When we arrived into our new apartment there were no champagne glasses so I called Paul to ask if there may be some in another apartment and the next day when we were out he very kindly delivered these to our apartment. The location and apartment were perfect and I would absolutely stay here again. Thank you for a lovely holiday.

  The view was amazing, and the apartment beautifully appointed and maintained. We loved the location - easy access to the beach, as well as all the shops and restaurants in the area. We would definitely recommend it.

  Very good. Couple things of note. Pillows are flat and firmer pillows should be in the closet. Coffee pot is designed for #4 filters and the unit had drip filters. Should have salt and pepper in the unit. The parking spot is terrible. Would be nice if the unit had a few beach chairs.

Had you notified us immediately, we would have had Housekeeping back to the unit right away to make sure everything was up to our standards in regards to the coffee filters and pillows. As stated in our FAQ's condiments are not left from guest to guest due to spoilage, and hygienic reasons. Most of our units are close to convenience stores, just ask your property manager at check in where you can pick up these types of items for your stay. I will pass your feedback onto the team, and we look forward to your next visit!

  Superb Views, comfortable beds, large kitchen, good laundry facilities. The location close to Lewers Street is excellent for restaurants & shopping. Bus stops are close by & all you need do is to step off the ground floor rear pavement and you are on the beach & into the water for a swim or paddle. The arcade on the ground floor of the building has a shop selling Hawaiian clothing etc - cheaper that other shops close by selling the same products. Can't wait to return - the facilities in many ways are better than the best hotels along the beach where I have stayed in the past but now I've found the ideal place for future holidays.

  We used Caprain Cook first time.I am sorry did not why known until now.We stayed in the family(3 daughter).The room was white and blue tones was clean and nice.
  The view from lanai was excellent!!
  in front of beach,landscape,especially Friday night fireworks at the Hilton hotel.
  Ice cube dispensers of the fridge was not initially used and ice flied out.But our children were amused even it.
  Paul can speak Japanese well.he is very kind and friendly.
  We would like to stay again.

  We would definitely use Captain Cook again. We had a wonderful experience in our condo. It was updated, decorated just lovely and VERY clean. All the amenities were thought through, and the place had high quality furniture, beds and linens. Paul was simply a great host. There if you need him, but doesn't bother you if you don't.

  We thoroughly enjoyed our offered 2 couples of different generations space and privacy and all the comforts of home.Being at the end corner we enjoyed amazing views of the city ,park and seascapes.The apartment was so close to all Waikiki had to offer within short was quiet,fresh and modern.Would love to return!

  We stayed in a two bedroom unit, level 12, the view was amazing! Very clean unit, light and airy, 2 bathrooms, washer/dryer, 2 tvs with cable. Excellent contact with captain cook real estate, they met us on arrival.

  Stayed at Waikiki Shore #1218. This condo was exactly as described. View when you walk in is absolutely stunning with best views over Waikiki Beach and City being a corner unit. Everything clean with great amenities and décor beautiful and modern. Great bonus to have a good car park and wifi included which we made good use of. Perfect location right on beach, easy walk to beach,shops and restaurants. Rented through Captain Cook and were very pleased with contact and communication. Our Manager Paul was also great. Also pleased with good stock of bath towels and beach towels and necessities paper towels, toilet paper, wash detergents etc so no rush to shop on arrival. Only issue would be the second lift not working. Would definitely rent this condo again and will be recommending to friends. Thanks to Captain Cook Resorts

  Me, my husband and mother in law stay at this fabulous condo Nov.27 to Dec 1st. I can't say enough good things about the room and the management company .. We had a amazing experience with both. The view is plan old beautiful, it really couldnt get any better .. The Room was very spacious and clean. Their's a few things that need to be updated but nothing big. Everything is walking distance from the condo which was great!! .. You walk right onto the beach which was amazing ... I just loved my stay at Waikiki Shore and so did my husband and mother in law .. Thanks again Captain Cook management!! Would definitely recommend this room as well as the management company to everyone!
