Canal House getaway.

We love the views and dare I say it, the sound of the sirens much different to the ones at home. The only downside was the pipe remediation work for the washer/dryer which resulted in our last week where it was unavailable to use. There was a notice posted at the building but didn’t explain the extent of what was going to be done. If we had known about the timing of the work we would have adjusted the dates of our stay. Apart from that, we will be back but would like to be informed of any further work that might be done in the future in advance, if possible.

The condo was well stocked with everything we needed and having the washer/dryer was very welcome. We didn’t need to use the aircon as the fans were better suited to our needs. The views are spectacular of Ala Wai Canal and the Ko’olau Mountain Range. Having Safeway Supermarket a short walk away was great, especially with the shopping trolley provided. The Bus was not far away when you wanted to explore outside of Waikiki. We think of it as our home away from home.

Yes. I would recommend this place!
Lincoln, United States, October 11, 2022 June 2022に71泊滞在Overall, we had a lovely stay. As for the location, it's not right on Kalakua Street with tourists hustle and bustle but within walking distance. As for the condo's condition, the place is quiet and clean. The Kitchen had a nice stove and a full-size refrigerator. All were in perfect working condition. The owners provided many sizes of pots and pans and gadgets. The condo also had a washer and dryer and cleaning supplies. The only two problems we had was the main locks and assigned parking space. Once time we got locked out of the condo and another time we got locked inside the condo. The original locks were very old and not working properly. The locksmith came on a Saturday to resolve the lock. The assigned parking space was located on the 5th floor of the parking lot. The turns in the parking lot was extremely tight going up and down the floors. Overall, very happy with the stay.

My first month in transition
West Linn, United States, November 17, 2016 October 2016に31泊滞在I have relocated to Oahu for a career/life change and I stayed here for my firs month. An Excellent spot to stay in order to get acclimated and familiarize yourself with Oahu. The Apartment has everything you need on a daily basis and Sydney was most helpful. The only advice I have is that you rent a very small car because the parking lot ramps are a bit tight. The only issue I had, and it was completely beyond Sydney's control was that the neighbors smoked, 24/7, and the smoke smell permeated the hallway to the unit and at times leaked into the doorway. A small odor plug in from Safeway handled this.

Walk to the Kapiolani park beach which is not crowded like the rest of Waikiki. I highly recommend this unit and building.

Canadians in Paradise
Regina, Canada, March 22, 2015 February 2015に30泊滞在We had a treeemendous time at the Canal House. Perfect location for grocery shopping at the Safeway, only a 15min leisurely walk. Bus service from library very convenient to all island locales. Close to our favorite park, Queen Kapiolani. We appreciated being at the far end of canal, less noise and people. Also as a paddling fiend, I was able to join and paddle with a local club for our stay. I saw their welcome banner flying just across the street and walked over and climbed in. Thank you to Harold the maintenance guy, always friendly and helpful. The renters and fellow vacationers at the Canal House were always cheery and pleasent to us as we met daily in the elevator. Thanks to Sydney and her wonderful rental unit. Everything we needed, and then some, was at our fingertips. We will return soon to # 1604. A big Mahalo!!
