Waikiki Vacation
Aaron S. から redding, US, February 26, 2026 February 2026に5泊滞在My wife and I stayed in this condo in Waikiki for 5 days. Checking in and out of this location was incredibly easy. The building is a little on the older side, but it is in good shape for it's age. Be aware the windows are single pane, so much of the city sounds (sirens, loud vehicles, etc..) will be heard. We have stayed in Waikiki before so that was not unexpected. My biggest issue with the stay was the "creaked" EVERYTIME someone moved. It seems the bed frame is just old, I mean every time someone moved that thing made a creaking noise...I'm a pretty heavy sleeper and the noises made it difficult to sleep through the night.
Everything was clean and all of the neighbors were quite. I would stay at this building again, but the bed will need to be fixed before I stay in this room again.Response from Captain Cook Resorts

Needs a little love
Camille N. から Maineville, United States, February 20, 2026 February 2026に8泊滞在Location is located in a good area to park, beach, market and mall, Drop off and Laundry a bit challenging but workable, Unit needs some updates, Carpet stained, Baseboards in bathroom and walls need touched up on paint, Lanai door very hard to open, door frame is rusted, Kitchen very nicely updated and has enough for 1 or 2 people, Bed is lumpy/uneven mattress and squeaky but clean, Overall Ok condo but far from the best I have rented from Capt Cook, Was a bit disappointed in the overall, The Building is tired and needs updated, I would give it a 2.5 star review.James the Property Manager was quick to follow up on my messages and kind..Mahalo

Perfect for everything

It's a 12 minute walk to the conference center; a 20 minute walk from Waikiki; a 20 minute walk from Ala Moana mall--in short, this place is the definition of a "walkable" location in Honolulu. But there's more! You want to rent a car? The cheapest car rental place on the island (Island Car Rental) is based in this very building! You want to go diving? Aloha Scuba Diving moors it's boat directly across the street. Want to stay inside with friends? The hosts provide a copy of Exploding Kittens, which is always a hit. The room has an incredible view of Honolulu. And to top it all off, the toilet also has a bidet--perfect. This place almost instantly felt like home.
I only had two cons for this place:
Con 1) The ice machine in the freezer would not stop producing ice, even while it was overflowing resulting in ice constantly falling out of the freezer when you opened it. Yes, we tried raising the lever to stop it. No, that didn't work.
Con 2) The water in the shower does not stay at a consistent temperature. It oscillates around wherever you put it, meaning that you will always be going from a little too hot to a little too cool in perpetual cycle while showering. I realize this is probably not under the owner's control, but it's worth mentioning.
But don't let those cons deter you. The fact that those were the only downsides should highlight just how incredible of a place this was. If I travel back to Honolulu, I would try to get this specific place again!Response from Captain Cook Resorts

Comfortable & Great Location

Good location; unit needs some love
portland, United States, November 15, 2023 October 2023に4泊滞在The location was exactly where we wanted to be. Staff helped via text message immediately every time we had a question. Onsite security staff not as much. This unit was clean and exactly how it was pictured. Things to note; the buildings smoking floor is on 7, and all we could smell was smoke when the window was open. The AC needs attention, smell was very bad by the 3rd night and our lungs were certainly feeling it. It wasn't until we returned home that I realized how bad it actually was. Had I mentioned it to the staff I am confident they would have addressed the issue right away. We absolutely would stay at the location again. Maybe not this unit without confirmation the HVAC system had been cleaned.

Much Better Value than the Hilton

The condo was spacious for up to 2 adults with everything you'd need. Great location with quick access to the beach and restaurants all with a short walking distance. I'd go back in a heartbeat.

Nice condo, excellent location..

We spent more time in Ala Moana area as there's a less crowded beach, park and Ala Moana shopping center and food court nearby. Condo was simply furnished, clean , fine for 2 people. We'll look to stay here in the future.

Great studio for exploring Waikiki Beach

Lovely condo right at the Waikiki Harbor. Easy access to everything. This is not ocean view but a lovely mountain view. Perfect for 2 people!

Great studio for exploring Waikiki Beach

Lovely condo right at the Waikiki Harbor. Easy access to everything. This is not ocean view but a lovely mountain view. Perfect for 2 people!

llikai Marina nice location
Gerald N., August 25, 2018 August 2018に8泊滞在The llikai condo is located close to the Hilton Hawaiian Hotel. It's on the west end of Waikiki away from the major shops and hotels which are located on Kalakua Ave. Lots of available pay parking with 7 floors of parking in the structure. The condo was very acceptable, clean bathrooms and kitchen. Very convenient having a full kitchen with full size refrigerator. Central air worked very well. From the 15th floor you have a nice view of the north side of Honolulu (mostly buildings). Very short walk to the shopping area on Waikiki (approx half mile) and also to the Ala Moana Mall(approx 3 blocks).

Perfect Room

Pravin K. から Sacramento, United States, May 14, 2017 May 2017に8泊滞在We had the best time, clean place, had everything for the beach, which we didn't use, location was great, easy to walk to beach and catch buses and rental cars.lots of places to eat and we saw fireworks, also from floor 2 you can walk to modern Honolulu hotel and walk to the walkway to beach, room was clean and the kitchen was perfect, if you want fresh tuna to enjoy, have to go China town, but food land in the ala Moana mall had everything ,pricey organic, but Waikiki is not cheap, manager was nice and check in was easy, thank you for making our trip memorable, traffic noise when you open the sliding doors, but I loved the breeze and for sure I had ear plugs, the bed looks likes it has some miles on it, ��but we were tired of our swims and hikes, barely spent time, apart from sleeping and quick fix foods,don't look around, just book it.

Great Value, Great Location, Great Vacation!

The location was great - right next to the Hilton Hawaiian Village where our family members stayed and paid over $400/night. We were so happy to have a kitchen because we saved a lot of money eating in every so often. The unit was clean, quiet, and well-equipped with kitchen supplies, linens, towels/washcloths, etc. We were pleasantly surprised to find a beach umbrella in the closet! We unexpectedly rented a car and were able to park in the building's garage for $20/day. The Hilton charged $35/day! We would highly recommend this company and this unit, and would definitely use them again in the future. Mahalo for a great stay!

Best Location We Found So Far !!!!

We were just outside of the "very" busy areas and close to Ala Moana park with its quiet, relaxing beaches. The only "surprise" was that the building itself has no main entrance locked doors. A security guard during the day and lots of security front door security system. With that in mind...I would still stay at the Ilikai Marina 's just something to be mindful of. AND...Paul is an amazing representative for Captain Cook !!! Seriously...he answers his phone...fixes "EVERY" issue or concern.... and "no" ...I'm not his brother in law. His customer service really does make booking next years trip an easier choice !!! Thanks a million...Paul!!!

Very good location, clean and enough space to stay for two!
Toyonaka, Japan, July 3, 2015 June 2015に5泊滞在Very good location to go to Alamoana center and Waikiki. There're good restaurants around the condo. Near to ABC store and food pantry. One little thing that I hope you to improve is drain in the bath tub. It was a little clogged and took time to be sucked down.
Other than above, perfect for us to stay 5 nights and we had really enjoyed our stay.Response from Captain Cook Resorts

Clean, modern, great location
Yangcheon-gu, Korea, Republic of, January 30, 2015 January 2015に10泊滞在My husband and I stayed at the Ilikai Marina for 10 days for our 1 year anniversary and overall we enjoyed our stay. The property is very clean, and well kept. It is in walking distance to beaches, Ala Moana Shopping Center, and Waikiki. The room had everthing we needed including extra blankets, kitchenware and laundry detergent. The building is very secure and the security guards were always very alert, which was assuring. I also downloaded captain cook real estate's app before my arrival and found it to be very useful.
Some of the cons were that it was a bit noisy on fridays and saturdays nights since there is a club at the adjacent hotel. Also, we had to wait for an hour to be checked in even though I called the office upon my arrival at the airport as instructed, but the staff were very apologetic and friendly.Response from Captain Cook Resorts

Nice and Cozy

My suggestions to the owner: add more cooking utensils (spatulas, etc.), sugar packets for coffee, a new comforter, a few bottles of complimentary water would be nice. Overall, we enjoyed out stay.

Great accommodations
Redlands , United States, August 10, 2014 July 2014に12泊滞在The people from Captian Cook are awesome! I was here during the recent hurricane Iselle storm. The company sent out messages giving pointers on what you should have available to you when the hurricane hit. I was to check out that morning and they called to see if I was going to need to stay longer as the morning flights out of Honolulu were cancelled. They were very accommodating and told me just to call if I was unable to fly out that afternoon.
The room was great for my use. I was thre almost 2 weeks, the first half on business the second pleasure. The room is in a great location for all of the tourist attractions of Wakiki ( walking distance) and within 5 miles of the State and Federal building locations in Honolulu.
I would stay at this property again and have recommended it to family already. -
