Our stay at Waikiki Shore Penthouse #2 April 2026

Out the front door a beautiful view of Diamond Head. Out the bedroom full wall window and the living room balcony was a beautiful view of the other side of Waikiki beach as well as perfect for sunsets and the Friday night fireworks.
The condo was perfectly clean. Everything works, no bugs, well stocked, loved the washer/dryer and full-size refrigerator. Bed was comfortable and the bathroom and shower well sized. We found the room to be a good size for a couple, 2 people. Maybe a child on the sofa bed but when it was down it took up the size of the living area. So, 2 people was nice. Lots of storage and closet space in the bedroom. The condo is exactly how it looks in the pictures. Looking at the building, I could tell there are larger sized condos for families which is good to know for others as this condo sitting right on Waikiki Beach, just go downstairs and play in the ocean, is perfect. No crossing the street or trying to fight the traffic to sit on the sand. And plenty of room, umbrellas to rent right downstairs and a perfect area next to the US Army museum versus hotel on hotel on hotel. Our property manager, Paul, greeted us on arrival and helped us with our bags. I only called him once with a question and he quickly helped me out. He made sure we knew we could call him with anything at all.Response from Captain Cook Resorts

Bring ground coffee. The 2 stars for Overall, were you satisfied with your stay were because of rain everyday all day not because of the condo.

Excellent central location, stunning views, perfectly appointed...we could not have asked for more! The decor was beautiful, fresh with an elegant Hawaiian beach vibe. It is a huge bonus having the washer/dryer. Definitely didn’t need to pack as many clothes as we thought. Downstairs, the beach rental team was lovely (offering 20% off for Waikīkī Shores). This is the perfect unit for two people!

Great place
fort langley, CA, April 2, 2024 March 2024に12泊滞在My spouse and kids (13 and 9) stayed here and we were very comfortable. We had a pull out bed and inflatable mattress for the kids and they were both happy and with the arrangement. Note that the pull out couch bed could easily fit two kids, they just wanted their own space. Paul was great and accommodating. Place is as described and listing is accurate. We had no issues with the dryer and did multiple loads of laundry per day. Yes there are birds on the balcony, they are tiny and cute, not like seagulls or pigeons coming to fight you for your last french fry! I already checked about going back next March and unfortunately the price is now about $150CAD more per night than we paid so we are sadly priced out now :/ We appreciated the place a lot and think anyone would be very happy here. The location is amazing and so is the view.

Amazing view and very comfortable

PH2 is located almost at the front of the building facing the ocean. From the unit, you see ocean and the city and mountains. It’s just gorgeous. The bed was comfortable and the kids were comfortable on the pullout. The kitchenette is small but was perfect for us. The unit is also well equipped with beach towels, chairs, and an outdoor umbrella. And finally, Paul was very friendly and helpful getting us in and being available when needed. Best spot in Waikiki for the price. Can’t wait to come back!
